"The apartment was great. The location was perfect for some local hiking. Parking was available in the back of the house. The owner lives on the first floor. To have a good check-in experience, make sure you visit his rental website to reply to check-in questions - replying to emails from that website will not reach him. The owner is not necessarily on the property during check-in hours and needs to know your planned arrival time. "

"We had breakfast there five times.. and each meal although self serve was fresh and exceptional. My wife's favorite was a bagel and omelet… and her coffee machine allowed each cup to have fresh ground coffee beans. My choice was chocolate milk, sausage and gravy biscuit, and cinnamon roll. "My friends and I rented this property for a long girls weekend to attend an event in the area. We liked the historical aspect of the property and Gary was an excellent host. His banana bread was amazing! We would definitely stay again. "

"Convenient to resturants and other facilities . Owners are kind and accomodating. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. Our small room was off the reception/dining area therefore quite noisy and not private at times. "

"I love to travel and from the different hotels this HYATT PLACE located at Poughkeepsie / Hudson Valley has been another thing, the staff was amazing and very kind, they are very attentive and its a very quick check in and out. The breakfast was very delicious and the hotel gorgeous. The rooms? You feel that you are on a 10 star Hotel and that you are a celebrity. We were very happy to stay there and definitely we are coming back. "

"Vassar visitors: stay here! Le Chambord is comfortable and well-maintained. It is a historic property that has clearly been well kept by the Curry sisters! The bedroom was HUGE - furnished beautifully with a desk, dresser, couch, chair, mini-fridge, closet, and a king sized bed.
