Safe location. Front desk Staff is super nice, warm, friendly. Beds are really comfortable, towels are soft! Water pressure and heat are great!
Be mindful of smaller parking lot (though it’s lit up like a dealership which is good), if you had a lot of luggage like us (moving across country) there’s no easy access like regular hotels to grab the trolley right in front of the door. You have to park in a single thirty minute spot outside on the street curb and walk into the hotel to grab it and walk it pretty far from outside the building. See Google maps front of the building, that’s where folks walk into to check in. Train only sounded a couple times around midnight, loud but it was just a minute or so. We were still up. AC isn’t really strong, but was enough with the ceiling fans in the bigger suite. Other than that, we enjoyed the historical aspect of the building and appreciate the front desk gentleman and his accommodating demeanor - especially after driving for ten hours! Fridge is a nice touch too!
