Welcome to Highcliffe Lodge — a one-of-a-kind luxury retreat in Vail where the rugged spirit of Yellowstone meets the timeless elegance of a Ralph Lauren mountain lodge. Nestled on nearly one private acre with sweeping Gore Range views and just five minutes from Vail Village (with your own Solaris garage parking space), this handcrafted log estate offers an unforgettable blend of high-end comfort, natural beauty, and family-friendly warmth.

The Experience
Highcliffe is more than a place to stay—it’s where mountain magic happens. Unwind in the Western mine-shaft-inspired private cinema (with 8K projection and Dolby Atmos sound), gather around the oversized moss rock firepit, or soak in the hot tub beneath the stars. Enjoy sunrise yoga on the balconies, sip wine at sunset from the dramatic stone belvederes, or retreat inside for board games, a movie night, or fireside storytelling. The home is ideal for multi-generational family gatherings, milestone celebrations, or serene couple getaways.

The Home
Thoughtfully designed to sleep 12 adults in true comfort, Highcliffe offers five bedrooms, each uniquely themed with Old Hickory furnishings, luxury Shifman mattresses, SONY 4K TVs, large windows with mountain views, and ample storage. The layout supports privacy and connection, with three main bedrooms featuring king or queen beds and lofted spaces, and two additional rooms ideal for singles and teens. Bathrooms include Molton Brown of London toiletries, plush towels, steam shower, and high-end hairdryers.

From the moment you step inside, you’re fully cared for. Linens are professionally laundered and pressed. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped for memorable meals—or elevate your experience with an on-demand private chef. A wet bar and spacious dining areas make hosting effortless.

Location affords many nearby outdoor activities, including white water rafting, fishing and even swimming in adjacent Gore Creek, and outstanding hiking and biking trails for which East Vail is reknown. The property is very near the East Vail Racquet Club with outdoor tennis courts and heated pool, and indoor gym and coffee shop, available for a nominal daily fee.

For Winter Ski Guests we partner with an exceptional family-owned ski equipment rental/retailer with a convenient facility in Vail Village adjacent to Ski Lift Gondola One and our Solaris parking garage parking space. Our partner will store your rented (or owned) ski equipment at their slope side facility for a reasonable fee! Highcliffe also offers on-site ski boot and clothing warmers, and ski racks if you want to keep your equipment at the lodge.

Our family had the best time at Highcliffe Lodge. We visited for three weeks (end of July - mid August). Weather stupendous. Chilly mornings and warm afternoons. The house had everything we could ever want in a vacation rental. Exquisitely designed and decorated. Incredibly well-stocked chef’s kitchen (we cooked most nights of the week and never had to purchase anything for the kitchen). Fabulous beds, linens, towels, pillows for every bedroom. Wonderful home layout with much space for our family to spread out over three levels. Gorgeous front porch and back patio. We ate dinner outside every night. Divine location in a beautiful neighborhood, perfectly located on the fabulous Gore Creek Trail. An exercisers paradise. We rented bikes in town for the duration of our stay and it was a dream to be able to bike into town each day to shop, grab coffee, hit the farmer’s market, etc. Adam is incredible. We had no issues while we were there but he checked in with us once a week to make sure everything was okay and to offer suggestions for activities/dining. The house was also in pristine, clean condition when we arrived. Wow from all of the Bellis family!! We will look forward to returning!!

Luxury Mountain House in Vail

The house was a perfect compliment to our vacation. It is a beautiful upscale mountain home that really sets the tone for a luxury ski vacation. The location is very close to Vail village and also the perfect location to allow us to ski Vail, Beaver Creek and Breckenridge due to the close proximity to all three mountains. Adam the owner was extremely hospitable and available if we needed anything. The house has all the luxury accommodations including a movie theater, garage game room, large hot tub, chefs kitchen and more. We loved the mattress so much in the main floor master bedroom that we ordered one for our home. Can’t recommend this property enough. We will most definitely be back.

Coolest Log Cabin Ever!

My husband, our three young kids and our best friends and their three young kids had the trip of a lifetime while staying in this epic log cabin! The home is meticulously and perfectly designed in every single room. Plenty of room for multiple families to be together or space out if needed. Whether you want to cozy up by the fire and stare out the window at the snow, or gather in the kitchen to cook a meal together, watch a movie in the one of a kind movie theater, play pool or ping pong in the heated garage, or freshen up in one of the many great bathrooms this home has you covered. Adam is the absolute best host we’ve ever worked with and keeps the home in perfect shape for every single guest. We all can’t wait to return and stay in this home again Next year.

Thanksgiving family wedding trip

Highcliffe Lodge is a very beautifully decorated, handsome, charming, cozy and well built home full of personal details that address your every need. With lots of fun rooms for entertainment including a theatre and games, you won’t want to leave home except for skiing and shopping in Vail which is very close by. We had a two foot snow storm sweep through on our visit and the trip became magical. We had seven people in our group and fit very comfortably. You will feel very grateful for your stay and sorry to be saying goodbye as you pull away at the end of your stay.

High expectations? Highcliffe for the win!

Adam, thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with my family. Your home is beautiful and well appointed…from the gorgeous furnishings to the western themed dinner plates. No detail has been overlooked. My granddaughter especially loved watching movies in the cozy theater room complete with a leather chair just her size. The yard and outdoor space is truly stunning. We looked forward to morning coffee on the porch, and even better, wine at sunset on the patio. I will always cherish the memories made with my family this summer at Highcliffe. I hope to make a few more this winter!

Annual Ski Trip - 2024

Everything about our stay was absolutely incredible. The property is even more beautiful than the photos online appear, the location is outstanding (less than 5 minutes from the village), Adam is the best host I have ever booked with, and he even has a parking pass for a garage right in the middle of the village! Everything was pristine when we arrived and this was hands down the best trip we have done to date (8 years and counting). I could not recommend this property and Adam highly enough! Vail Adventure

Highcliffe Lodge is a luxurious home base from which to explore the splendors of Colorado! The lodge had spectacular views, a secluded feel, and access to a wide variety of activities, from hiking trails for all levels to zip line and rafting adventures, all of which we took advantage of. For less active days, nearby Vail Village and Frisco offered great restaurants and shopping. The lodge also was well appointed with games and a theater and lots of outdoor space to relax. We had a great family trip thanks to our gracious host and his AMAZING home! We would love to visit again in winter.

Fantastic lodge, perfect stay

We have had an amazing time in this house, we spent our vacation holiday in Vail and was fantastic. We love the lodge, everything in it is great. We hope to be back soon…… We are a family of 10 people, and the lodge works perfect for my group, the jacuzzi, the home theater, the steam bath, the bar and of course the rooms and common areas was incredible. Great value to have a card to use as much as you want at the Solaris parking in Vail Village, just 4 minutes from the house by car, if you are thinking to rent this lodge, do it now you can not loose this property. On the other hand, the communication with Adam was impressive, he was always on line. With no doubt you must go to the Highcliiff Lodge.

True luxury in Vail

We take an annual mom and kids trip to Vail and this home was the best one yet! 4 moms and 4 kiddos stayed here with more than enough space. Could have had plenty more people as we didn’t even use all the beds. Pictures don’t do it justice, it’s truly a luxury home that is well appointed from top to bottom and owners have thought of everything you may need from boot warmer rack to basement bar equipped with all your bar tending needs. There was Great communication from the owner and everyone enjoyed themselves. Added bonuses like the music surround sound throughout and the parking pass for Vail Village just made it even better. Kids favorite highlights of the property: hot tub, garage game room, theater, and bunk room! We will book again next year as soon as the school winter break schedule is confirmed!

Amazing stay

This is a beautiful property. Very clean and well equipped. The finish out and decor is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. We had a large group of kids and adults and everyone had a great time and there was plenty of space to spread out. The outdoor fire pit is a nice touch and the heated garage/playroom and the theatre room are perfect for staying in without being bored. The location is very close to Vail village, and the private parking pass makes it easy to park and walk to shops, restaurants, ski, etc. There is a heated rack for skis and boots in the garage which is very useful. We cooked breakfast or lunch most days and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing Property and Experience!

Home: This is a gorgeous log cabin with plenty of room for a group. Thoughtful layout with comfortable gathering spots. Well appointed from top to bottom. Extremely clean and comfortable. Loved the game room and outdoor areas too. Location: Less than 10 minutes to get to a guaranteed parking space in Solaris Parking Garage in the center of Vail. Super convenient to restaurants, shopping and Gondola One. The parking space was easy to get to and appreciated by my whole group. Host: Adam is by far the best host I have ever rented with. Very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
