"Loved that the villa was homely but luxurious, having its own personal pool in the back yard. The villa had all the requirements of a home and the washer/dryer was very useful.
The location is great. Walkable to a handful of restaurants - Roots Spirit, Happy Rajah, Medium Rare Steakhouse and Jiva Coffee - All recommended.
It was also a great base to see the South west of Mauritius, lots of sights within a close drive.
The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful.

"Great apartment. Very quiet. Well maintained. Very helpful host. Regular cleaning.
Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk to the beach/town but they do offer a shuttle if you need it. We had a hire car so it wasn’t really a problem. "

"We loved our stay at Dodo Square. Dodo was a great location as a base to travel around the north of Mauritius.
Entry details were emailed to us the day before arrival. And once we arrived one of the house keepers notified the admin and our room pin was activated.
The studio apartment was clean, spacious and was tastefully decorated. And in a generally new condition. It had all the appliances to cook, if we wanted to.
The surrounding area was very quiet in the mornings. The only early morning...

"Amazing apartment!!
Gorgeous property with fantastic ocean views. The property was clean and plenty of towels provided and everything needed in the kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great and clean. Parking space provided.
There is a small shop in walking distance and larger supermarket (will need to drive). Plenty of restaurants and food stalls in the area. Great area for snorkeling, lots of colourful fish. The water isnt too deep in the day, so you can swim out. Lovely pool which was...

"You get what you pay for. These are a great price for space and location. They are a little tired and there's a lack of sunbeds, but overall great value for money. Beware the overspill from the clubs nearby - outside with very loud music til 6am one morning. But that's not the property's fault. The dogs are noisy but not aggressive."

"조식은 부페식이 아니라 메이드가 빵과 주스 가져다 줍니다. 방에 와서 추가로 커피와 차 끓여주는데 빵 좋아하시는 분은 나쁘지 않지만 개인적으론 돈 아까웠어요. 주방에 개미 엄청 많으니 놀라지 마시고, 공항까지 무료 셔틀 없습니다. 수영장 작고 물 지저분해서 안 갔어요. 그 외엔 무난무난 합니다. Mall 까지 가는 무료 셔틀은 꽤 유용한데 이거라도 없으면 고립돼요."

"The staff is very kind, each and every one of them. Maybe not too swift in replying the emails, that has to be improved, for sure.
The structure is in a great spot, 5 minutes walking to many restaurants and to the beachfront, however it is pretty quiet given the fact that it is located in a secondary alley.
The room is huge and has all the facilities for cooking, if you want to dine inside, and it had a lovely patio with pool view where you can chill out.
Breakfast was nothing special but...

"Appartement bien situé, propre , au calme. J’ai apprécié la réactivité de reetesh. Juste un détail à améliorer c’est d’avoir plus de couverts disponibles ( 4 fourchettes par exemple c’est juste). Sinon pour le reste c’est très bien."

We were in Mauritius on business and decided to spend half of the trip in an apartment and half in a 5 star hotel. This place is as good as a 5 Star hotel! It is so good to be able to shop at the Mauritian supermarkets (Super U 15 minutes away by car) and buy the lovely local produce and cook a nice meal on the bbq and relax with Pheonix beer and wine overlooking the beach at sunset!
