"We are visiting the cloud forest of Ecuador for three weeks, This is our first visit to Ecuador. We stayed at Cerro Campana for 6 nights, our second longest stay during our first trip to Ecuador. We wish we had stayed longer. Next time we will know better…The location is beautiful, The lodge is perched high on a hill with views all around. "Checkin was a bit of a pain because we arrived very late opening the lock boxes for the keys were a pain, but even though it was nearly midnight the manager answered right away. Loved the changing views out over the town and the volcano, totally amazing. My favorite place when in the condo was in front of the livingroom window. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the locals are warm and friendly. It's easy to get around town on foot but the walk from the condo is a bit of a trek, however,...

"The property was great. Spacious, well furnished, clean, close to the main street. Easy access to shopping, transportation. The manager was easy to reach and very helpful. The building was very secure with a gated entry, alarmed building at night. The gardens are absolutely beautiful on the property. I will most definitely stay here again."

"Plenty of room for our group of 12. The owner even came over and helped us start a fire, for the cold nights! Also had periodical cleaning which was an added bonus. Only issue we had is the downstairs shower only had cold water so we had to share the 2 upstairs between 12 folks. Not ideal but was do able.
Great house in a quiet part of town."
