Located in the heart of the historic center of Uzès, this cozy apartment is the ideal base for exploring the picturesque streets and lively squares of the old town. Herbal Square and its famous market are only 100m away.
Located on the 1st floor of a beautiful old building, you will access the apartment through a private entrance and stairs. The apartment, recently renovated, has kept its authentic Uzèsian style: Uzès stones, exposed beams, French ceiling.
With a surface of 50 m2, it offers a beautiful living room with open kitchen, a comfortable bedroom separated by a curtain, a large dressing room and a bathroom with toilet.
For your comfort the appartment has air conditioning and a private parking space in the street at 50 meters.
. The living room is equipped with a 105cm plasma TV with cable TV and a bench whose backrest can tilt and can be used as an extra bed (1 place)
. The kitchen has hotplates, a combination oven (microwave / grill / hot air), a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster, as well as all necessary utensils and dishes. so that you can prepare and enjoy your meals on site.
. In the bedroom there is a double bed and a bench BZ 1 place (not visible in the photos)
. Shower room, WC and large dressing room

The city center of Uzès, merchant and very lively, is full of treasures to discover which we will be happy to talk to you.
Around there is the Valley of the Eure where it is good to walk, hiking trails, Gard villages full of charm, vineyards to visit, the museum of candy Haribo.

We had a delightful stay for ten days. The apartment was charming, clean, and very well located. We were able to enjoy Uzès and the surrounding area by foot, bike, and auto. Amelie was very responsive to our needs and a delight to meet. We highly recommend this apartment and look forward to another stay in the future.

I regularly go to Uzes. This apartment is fantastic - very well refurbished, modern yet keeping its charming French character, with everything you will need for a pleasant stay and importantly you are living in the centre it Uzes, less than a 5 minute walk from all of Uzes attractions. Finally the owner was amazing. I will try and stay here again!

Super appartement au 1er étage en plein coeur d'Uzès.Très propre, bien équipé. La place de parking est à à peine 100m du logement. La climatisation est un gros plus également.Amélie est adorable et disponible si besoin.Le seul petit point négatif c'est que c'est un peu bruyant mais en plein centre-ville, on ne peut pas rêver mieux

Comfortable apartment close to the centre of town

Great for 2 people. Comfortable bed, good shower, reliable internet, well-equipped kitchen and washing machine. Only 2 minutes walk from the Place aux Herbes. Reserved parking is 100m away. Check-in was easy.

Just Perfect

Everything about our stay in Uzes was just perfect. We very much enjoyed the apartment (Le Vincent) with everything we needed and everything all on one floor and very spacious. Amelie and her husband were very helpful during our stay. We really hated to leave, but after a 28- day stay, it was time to move on to our next adventure. Great little apartment in centre of Uzes

Lovely property, just as advertised on the website. The host was very helpful, met us when we arrived and explained thing to us. There was off round parking which in the middle of a very busy town is very useful. We had a lovely stay and would go back.

A wonderful apartment in a wonderful town in Provence

Highly recommended as a delightful apartment in a very beautiful town. The host was super helpful and the location excellent. The regular fresh food markets in the town were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay there. It is on the first floor, so there are stairs to get to the front door.

Unpleasant: Checked Out Immediately!

Photos and reviews are encouraging, but this rental is unusable. We left five minutes after arriving. Very busy area, directly on a single-lane one-way street, terribly noisy inside from car, truck, bus, speeding motorcycles. The rumble vibrates through the tiny apartment. No way to drop off bags. You'll have to go to the parking space to unload in the rough gravel lot, walk back and then schlep your bags up a narrow stairway. If you have large bags, one person will have to take the top handle and the other the bottom: dangerous. Windows look out on prison-like view. I walked across town and found a better place in six minutes. If you are looking forward to a relaxing and calm few days in Uzes this is NOT the place. I relayed all this information to the owner and received zero response. Did not enjoy paying twice for the second room but ended up having a great time after this very unfortunate and unpleasant beginning. My advice: Don't do it.

Lovely

Fabulous little apartment just off the main avenue. Literally anything you could want just steps out the front door, including a wonderful Wednesday morning market. Not much English is spoken in town but the market vendors and shopkeepers suffered our almost nonexistent French with goodwill. (Our host is quite fluent in English though, which made things easy.) One of the loveliest things about Uzes is that it’s nearly untouched by time and so uncrowded compared to other summer destinations in France and Italy. We had less time than we’d have liked in France but it was so relaxing and beautiful there, we spent a whole day just wandering the town. Our hostess was also flexible with our departure needs, which was very much appreciated. And the apartment is so pretty and inviting, we enjoyed just coming home in the evening and playing cards.

In a word: WONDERFUL

Stunning, spacious, and updated with modern amenities! This was our first time traveling overseas and the experience could not have been any better. I was a little nervous about the VRBO thing, but we wanted a more authentic experience --a live like the locals live experience-- while in Uzès for the five days we were there, rather than staying at a hotel well outside town. The online pics of Amélie's Le Vincent (along with its reasonable price) immediately drew us in. But the online pictures don't really do this property justice ... it is far more charming and delightful in person than you can imagine. From the very old, but very secure thick wooden entry door to the stone walls and wood beamed ceilings, to the new hardwood floors and beautifully modernized bathroom (complete with washing machine and drying rack), to a spacious closet (to fully unpack so that you are not living out of a suitcase), to a small but complete galley kitchen ... Amélie seemingly has thought of everything! Not only was there coffee and tea ready to be used our first morning, but there was also soap to do our laundry. How thoughtful is that! Amélie even provided a comprehensive resource guide to the area with where to find grocery stores, pharmacies, bike rentals, family-friendly activities, restaurants and bars, and so much more. Plus she was just a phone call or text message away. We are lucky enough that my partner's aunt has been living in Uzès for over ten years, so our day-to-day activities were pretty much booked up before we even arrived. And when we told her where we were staying she knew exactly where Amélie's property is, as our aunt is just three blocks down the street. So we knew we were in a good part of town. (Is there a bad part of Uzès? I can't imagine so.) With dozens of bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, and retail establishments just outside your door ... you might think the area is too busy or too noisy. Not at all. Uzès starts to quiet down as early as 9 PM during the week with just a few establishments staying open until eleven or midnight. And with their world-famous Saturday market a less than five-minute walk from your doorstep, it's difficult to find anything to fault at Le Vincent. So if you are looking for a comfortable and authentic old-world but modern rental experience in this ancient city --it does date back to as early as the 1st century BC-- then Amélie's delightful Le Vincent property comes very highly recommended.

Well located, comfortable and clean.

Right in the heart of Uzes, the market, the sights and the local cafes, bars and reataurant all within 5 minutes walk. Comfortable and clean. We didn’t use any of the cooking facilities, so we can’t comment on those, but all the other facilities delivered exactly as promised. A perfect little apartment for a visit to this delightful town.

Characterful studio in heart of Uzes

The studio is on the first floor of a building just off the road that encircles the old heart of Uzes so very close to all the town has to offer. It is stylishly furnished, and clean. We opted to pay for parking nearby as the free on street parking was obviously not necessarily guaranteed. The location is very convenient but understandably being in the heart of town you do hear some street noise which wasn’’t a problem for us. The only downside for us personally was some noise in the early hours of the morning from the studio above on more than one occasion. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the studio to couples.

Simply a must!

If you are visiting Uzès absolutely stay here! Location is perfect! Apartment was exactly as described and location couldn’t be better. Amelie was beyond lovely and helpful. Would return anytime!!
