"Very nice property. Worth mentioning Is that there is also a basement suite. Too bad the ones using it during our stay weren’t considerate. This was discussed with owner and tended to immediately. We appreciated that to the fullest extent and the owners help surpassed our expectations. Thank you again. There is a bit of thru traffic but other than that, no issues whatsoever. We enjoyed the property very much."

"Located one block from Argyle St where the night life is happening. Not a place to stay if you are looking for quiet but definitely ideal if you are looking for a good time out with friends. Many dining & drinking options available within walking distance"

"When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome."

"This property is exactly as posted. Location was perfect. The view was amazing. The host provided me with all the information I needed, direction to property, the code to get in. Gave us detailed information on accessing the property. We did not have any issues but she made sure to be available to us by reaching out to us on the day of arrival to make sure we received everything. This property was clean and well taken care of,"

"The room was very clean and easy to find with the instructions that were provided. Quiet neighborhood. It is a garden level apartment so only suggestion for improvement would be better lighting as the rooms were somewhat dark. Thank you!"

"Great location. The spot was very clean and conveniently located to visit the waterfront. We had an issue with the AC and the owners were quick to respond and quick to come fix the problem. Communication was great and check in was very easy. Would recommend this place!"

"The property was just as listed. It is a very unique, spacious, and comfortable lodging about 25 minutes outside of downtown Halifax in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well-equipped and the decor is an attraction in itself. This was a good base from which to explore the Halifax area.The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable but both bedrooms require the ability to climb stairs, including a steel spiral staircase to the second bedroom.
