Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Monroe, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring.

These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Monroe County experience!

PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee.

ALL EVENTS, DAY GUESTS, AND PARTIES ARE PROHIBITED WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.
Effective July 1, 2025 the county has raised the innkeepers tax from 5% to 8%.

We had such a great stay at this beautiful cozy cabin! It was nice and secluded, and away from any busy roads for the dogs. Beautiful wrap around porch. Full bathroom on every floor with is so nice for a group! Working fireplace and everything we needed to cook. Great location just 20 minutes or so from the adorable town! 10/10 would come back in a second!

Property was very nice. It is smaller than pictures show. Outside deck and grounds are the best feature. Very secluded. Cell phone service is nonexistent.

Short stay in the woods

This was a quick 2 night stay for a wedding at a nearby venue. The basement had games, plenty of TVs, the hot tub was used by two in our party and they enjoyed it. Deer on the property the last morning. Everyone was happy with the comfort of the beds, and all were happy for three full bathrooms. It seemed much larger than the listed square footage.

Perfect Sisters Weekend

Despite all the rain from Hurricane Hellene we had a fabulous time. We each had space on our own level for sleeping and a bathroom. We had space to sit outside and enjoy nature. We had very comfortable kitchen eating, sitting space. We didn't even utilize the awesome basement other than sleeping. This space can accommodate well beyond the 3 of us we had. But it was the perfect getaway for the celebration of a special occasion. Our 4 days there are now treasured memories. Thanks!

Wow! What a perfect cabin

Inside and out, every seat has a view. The three-sided deck is so cool. Beds were comfy. Everything was clean and checkout procedure is clear. Tons of storage. We forgot a box fan for sleeping and were happy to find one in the hall closet. Because there are no pix and I was curious before our stay, I want to say the bathrooms are great. Each floor has a full bath! The main floor is accessed from the hall and bedroom, and there is pocket door separating the sink from the toilet and shower. The upper floor has an ensuite with a shower, and the lower level has a tub. We're 50ish and our 22 y-o daughter brought 2 college friends. It was a great set up with them basically having the downstairs with the games, music, and kitchenette. We're already talking about our next visit!

Great for a girls' weekend!

This was our third year staying at Lemon Ridge Lodge and we love it so much! The location is perfect, easily accessible to Bloomington and Nashville but secluded enough to feel like you're away from everything and everyone. We played Thurs night free bingo at the Porthole Inn bar, hot tubbed in the snow and watched a million 80's movies. We'll be back next year for round 4!
