"Lovely property!! As gorgeous as pictured and so relaxing to look out at the water. Property was very clean and had all the essentials. Check in was very easy and when we had trouble figuring out the stove the company answered the phone straight away and explained it. The only negative I would note is that the location in the Harbor is a little less luxurious than the house. The houses next door have oils of garbage and furniture in their gardens. "

"Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree. The cottage is peaceful and clean, with modern fixtures, a full kitchen and incredible views. Billy and Helen were very easy to communicate with and were very responsive. They also squeezed us in for a booking...

"The house was very clean and very warm and dry! We did incur lots of rain & listening to it in the sunroom was quite nice. There were no "surprises" about the property which is good. Location was great. We were looking for something rural but not so far off the grid that we couldn't find anything. Would absolutely recommend a stay here."

"This was a perfect jump off place for exploring the Isle of Skye. Everything we needed was available in the cabin, including binoculars for observing the wildlife on the mountain side. We were blessed to have a beautiful clear night for star gazing- which for us was the highlight of our stay! Thank you both for the memories of a lifetime. Highly recommend staying here, and would gladly stay here again!"

"Lovely views, warm and cozy, well equipped, great shower. Charming and helpful owners."

"This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. "
