"Nice hotel. Smallish room. Only issue was I booked online for a twin and they gave us a double. So we had to get a single mattress to put on the floor. Since the room was not very big it became cramped. They should not offer twin as an option if they can't guarantee it."

"We had a great time at Kankarwa haveli. It is very well located, has a beautiful view on the lake to admire the sun set and the staff and service is very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom could be improved but we recognize that it's hard to do so in heritage buildings. Overall, great place and would recommend. "

"We did not stay at the hotel. It was dirty smelly and the entrance to the hotel was lined with poo. In The room the waste bin had spit and dirt and muck on it. The sheets were dirty. The bathroom and toilets were not clean. We could not stay there for these reasons. We would like a full refund. "Pour la première nuit, nous étions au 1er étage. Nous avons très peu dormi car beaucoup de bruit à cause du personnel et des gens qui rentrent tard. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre. Notre chambre se situait au 3eme etage beaucoup moins bruyant. Le personnel est bienveillant, l’hôtel magnifique mais comme la plupart des hôtels en inde, il n’y a aucune isolation. Le lit était confortable. "

"Our family of four spent three nights at the Hotel Aashiya Haveli! We loved it there. The location is great, in the heart of where you want to stay (Lal Ghat) and there’s a great view of the lake from the roof. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Overall, it was very mellow and pleasant. Sometimes it was a little hard to find staff but that was never a big issue."

"First of all the approach road to Zana Lake Resort is horrible. The concept of hotel is different. There is no reception. I called from the room phone intercom to reach the person who checked us in . I tried since early morning till noon. No response. I felt its unsafe when there is no contact with anyone for any need. No mini fridge or ice. No Other activities in the resort area except swimming pool. It's built in remote village area without building infrastructure. I paid $162.21 (13380 Rs)....

"Lovely hotel, although a little pricier than others around. I could have done with a balcony and/ or a lake view for the price. Room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, restaurant was lovely with a rooftop terrace overlooking the lake. I had to stay 2 nights instead of the 3 that I booked due to the large distance I had to travel. The hotel wouldn’t refund the third night which I thought was quite inflexible."
