"The property is central located and easily accessible to all the sightseeing and the shopping markets ....loved the ambience ,food and hospitality..just if they would have a kids pool as pool on the top floor is 4.5 feet which is not k for small kids ...kids pool would have been an added advantage...else everything is good 😊"

"We had a great time at Kankarwa haveli. It is very well located, has a beautiful view on the lake to admire the sun set and the staff and service is very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom could be improved but we recognize that it's hard to do so in heritage buildings. Overall, great place and would recommend. "

"Our family of four spent three nights at the Hotel Aashiya Haveli! We loved it there. The location is great, in the heart of where you want to stay (Lal Ghat) and there’s a great view of the lake from the roof. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Overall, it was very mellow and pleasant. Sometimes it was a little hard to find staff but that was never a big issue."

"The Hotel Mahendra Prakash is awesome place to stay in Udaipur at affordable cost. The rooms are spacious and gives you haveli like atmosphere. It is located at a prime area, major tourist spots are at walkable distance. Frintdesk, Housekeeping and restaurant staff is efficient and polite. Swimming pool is clean. Good is nice. Amazing breakfast. The owners and family are welcoming.They have maintained high standards of the property. Must stay at this hotel when in Udaipur. Highly recommended."

"A great find and conviently located. The gentleman on reception was great throughout my stay, very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was a good size with lots of old period furnishings. Large comfy bed and a fan heater provided. AC worked well too though being the cooler months use of fan heater was needed. Large bathroom with good hot water shower. Located within walking distance to the Palace entrance gate and plenty of resturants nearby. Would definately recomend and stay here...

"We did not stay at the hotel. It was dirty smelly and the entrance to the hotel was lined with poo. In The room the waste bin had spit and dirt and muck on it. The sheets were dirty. The bathroom and toilets were not clean. We could not stay there for these reasons. We would like a full refund. Also the cost online is much cheaper to what we paid to Expedia.we were not happy with the service and the pictures and reviews given on Expedia.com were misleading It was claustrophobic. "First of all the approach road to Zana Lake Resort is horrible. The concept of hotel is different. There is no reception. I called from the room phone intercom to reach the person who checked us in . I tried since early morning till noon. No response. I felt its unsafe when there is no contact with anyone for any need. No mini fridge or ice. No Other activities in the resort area except swimming pool. It's built in remote village area without building infrastructure. I paid $162.21 (13380 Rs)....
