"Communication with Julie was good. The apartment was great, warm/cosy, comfortable bed with lots of amenities in the kitchen although we ate out mostly.Having the place to ourselves was ideal having brought our dog. The view from sitting at the table was lovely with it being right next to the river and also the walking paths. Would definitely use again, so much better than staying in a hotel."

"This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!"

"Well appointed with all the amenities we could want, and more. Spotless throughout, plus a very comfortable bed. The most beautiful setting in a storybook village!
I came here to see and experience where my great grandmother was born, and was overwhelmed with the beauty of this very special place!
I will never forget Rowan Cottage and Wanlockhead!!
