"Title: Elegant stay in a perfect location – highly recommend Room 561 We had a lovely experience at The Continental Hotel Oslo. We booked a junior suite and were very pleased with the space and comfort. The suite featured a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub and a separate shower, plus a spacious living area and plenty of closet space. The bed was softer than I usually prefer, but surprisingly comfortable for my back. The staff were warm, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay....

"Good location. 15-20 minutes to ferry terminal, central train station, Opera House. Staff is helpful. Ran out of hair conditioner and it was not refilled. A fire alarm went off at 5:00 a.m. and all guests were required to exit the hotel and stand oitside on the sidewalk for 20 minutes "

"A very central hotel, you can walk to most sites. Excellent choice at breakfast. Sadly no water in mini fridge or milk. No teaspoon for T bags. Only 3 T bags per day for 2 people?! But these are minor issues, we had a fantastic time. "

"Great for exploring the countryside and Oslo! Lovely hotel and grounds where we enjoyed making our own waffles for breakfast, the games room- but canoeing most of all! Not sure if some staff are snooty or that is the Norwegian way 😂"

"Fint og billig hotell sentralt i oslo. Fint rom, men litt ubehagelige senger. Rommet mangler også aircondtion. Noe som gjorde rommet ekstremt varmt"

"Das Hotel ist sauber, die Betten sind bequem, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, das Abendbuffett war auch sehr lecker! Minuspunkte bekommt die Bar, die nur bis 23:00 Uhr geöffnet ist und Sonntags geschlossen ist ! "

"Great hotel close to everything! Right by the National Theater train stop so easy access to and from the airport. Hotel is clean and the breakfast was amazing!"

"The location is great and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It's about a 10 minute walk from the train station which was very manageable. The room itself was clean and large (we had bunk bed + a king bed). Accessing the building was an issue for us - your phone is used as an electronic key card and apparently since we had Android devices the key card didn't work. We had to call support, they were fairly prompt and gave us physical cards after which point we didn't have an issue....

"Et fint sted, med historisk sus. Underbemanning/kompetansetrøbbel og dårlig logistikk i baren fredag kveld var minus. 40minutter for å få servert to øl, jeg var nr 8 i køen!!"

"Veldig fint hotell, men inspirasjon fra 1800, begynnelsen av 1900-tallet. Meget hyggelige og servicemindede resepsjonister. Minus er at restauranten ligger over gårdstunet. Veldig akustikk, når det er fullt der. Liten meny. Pluss er at de dyrker mye av maten selv. Nydelige smaker på rettene. "

"Such a charming hotel in a beautiful walkable area. The building is meticulously maintained to preserve its beauty. Our room was just as in the picture and was a welcome respite to long days of sightseeing Loved all the thoughtful touches such as robes, slippers and even umbrella rentals in the lobby ! As other reviews states the breakfast was amazing ! Staff at the hotel are friendly and super helpful. Special mention to the Manager and also the young man at reception who gave us...
