"Great front desk agents and helpful housekeeping staff. Typical breakfast with waffle makers. I’m a fan of waffles so that was nice. Coffee bar was nice, offered a variety of roasts; medium, dark, decaf.
We had trouble with the first and second set of card keys to unlock our room. When it did work the door stuck and had to push door pretty loudly. Weak water pressure in the shower. The toilet would either not flush or kept running. Even when you pulled up the flap sometimes the water...

"I booked this stay to be closer to Norfolk General, where my mother was having surgery. The hotel itself is very compact and obviously meant for a quick stay/somewhere to sleep- nothing wrong with that! It did feel a little cramped but we weren’t really looking for luxury. The room and bathroom were clean and well-stocked, although interestingly, someone had put a wash cloth in the hand towel ring so we were short one (no big deal).
I’m pretty laid back, but I did have an issue with the TV and...

"On the surface the room looked good. Obviously the room had undergone a recent renovation. However the plumbing and electrical had not been updated. In one bathroom the overhead shower did not work and in the other bathroom the sink faucet was broken and all we had was hot water. The electrical socket in the bathroom was not secured in the wall. When you pulled the plug out of the socket you could hear it bounce back into the wall cavity. There was a dead palmetto bug lying on the kitchen...
