"Arrived late, no one at front desk had to knock on door, lady sent her husband out he asked why I was there I obviously told him I had a reservation, after lady spoke to manager on the phone, he then walked me to my room which was hostel style and how disgusting that room was, cigarettes and tobacco littered the table, very trashy room, horrid smell. As it was 1:30am I had no choice but to stay. Soon as I woke up at 7am I left the property. I’m a solo traveler so I had the flexibility I guess...

"The hotel is great, nice restaurant too. However parking is not nice. This is in downtown so parking is an issue. No attached garage, and the public parking spots had broken glass and homeless people laying there which was unsettling. We lucked out and found street parking in front of the hotel so it was easy to unload our luggage, and it’s free 8 pm to 8 am. If we had to park in the areas with all the broken glass I would have worried about my vehicle and not slept well. Staff was helpful....

"The location was perfect and easy to navigate throughout Portand, Oregon. We loved that the parking was free and the free breakfast was very good with different and tasty foods each morning. The staff were friendly and very nice. We were there for a full week. The only problem we encountered was that housekeeping changed our firm pillows that I requested after the first day, to softer pillows and the shower pressure was not as strong as I would have liked.
