"We had a little trouble finding it when we tried to use just the GOS. Once I reread the directions we were able to find it right away.The house is well supplied with what you need and the town looked delightful. Unfortunately we weren’t able to spend much time there. "

"Wonderful place to be based for a trip to Ireland. Loved the private beach, the views of the lake, fishing on the lake, and of course the donkeys! Enjoyed lots of days out around Mayo and Sligo. Mary was a lovely host! Highly recommend the venue as place to enjoy in and of its self as well as base to go exploring! "

"Great place to stay"

"Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"Vielen lieben Dank für zwei wunderschöne, erholsame Wochen für die ganze Familie. In der Brownston Lodge ist wirklich alles da was man braucht. Mit Kuchen und Blumen begrüßt zu werden war noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen, umringt von Schafen und Kühen mit Blick auf den Lough Carra. Wer die Natur und die Ruhe liebt und nachts den schönsten Sternenhimmel sehen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Vom Angebot des Angelboots haben wir keinen Gebrauch gemacht, da wir keine...

"Comfortable"

"We had a lovely stay at the house in Rockfleet. The location is really the star attraction, so peaceful and beautiful. The house is clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen. Fantastic walks all around the area, including right from the door of the house. Located on a very quiet road with a small pier a short walk from the house and the beautiful castle right next door."

"Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. We will definately return to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage, that is for sure! Derek Hanley, and family Dublin."
