"We had a horrible experience at this lodge and were extremely disappointed with how management handled the situation.
The jacuzzi appeared to have an extremely high level of chemicals. After getting out, my son’s black BOSS swimming shorts had actually turned brown. Once we returned to our room, our bodies began itching badly, and it became severe enough that we had to go out and purchase Benadryl for my son.
We contacted management that same night, but no manager called us back until the...

"Although we’ve stayed here before, this was the first time we stayed during the summer. We drove up for my son’s birthday. The room was fine. Run down, old etc but functional. The pool was dirty and the hot tub didn’t work. Staff were ok at best. I asked if we could have a late checkout and even for 30 min longer they wanted more money. Very disappointing stay."

"The hotel is older and you can tell in some spots. There was stains on the bed frame and the shower had some damage around the walls. The property was quiet even though there was construction nearby. Breakfast was slim pickins. Overall was a good place for us staying just a night. They were welcoming of dogs too :)"

"The motel is very charming. A little outdated but that adds to the charm of a lakeside motel in the mountains. I love how it’s walkable to many places in town. Bathroom was very small, but clean which is more important. Our favorite was the bed. The mattress was surprisingly so comfortable! We would definitely stay here again."
