Crabber’s Cottage offers a quiet, comfortable stay in the heart of Trinidad, just steps from the best the town has to offer. Bay, ocean, and pier views are just around the corner, and nearby trails provide easy access to Trinidad Head, Trinidad State Beach, and Old Home Beach. Guests will also enjoy being within easy walking distance of local favorites, including The Eatery and The Beachcomber.

This newly remodeled one-bedroom cottage accommodates up to two guests and features a king bed for a restful night’s sleep. For guests who prefer separate sleeping arrangements, the living room includes a new queen sofa sleeper and a 50'' Smart T.V., a perfect way to unwind after a long day of hiking. The space is thoughtfully decorated with charm and simplicity, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker, ideal for light meal preparation (please note there is no stove or oven).

The cottage also includes a spacious full bathroom and convenient driveway parking. With its prime location near town dining, beaches, and the redwoods, Crabber’s Cottage offers excellent value for travelers seeking comfort, simplicity, and convenience.

For those looking to explore beyond town, Prairie Creek Redwoods State and National Parks are just a 30-minute drive away, offering more than 100 miles of scenic trails through ancient redwood forests, including the iconic Fern Canyon.

Important Notes:

** Guest reserving home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking.

** Upon completion of booking reservation guests will be required to sign a rental agreement agreeing to Trinidad Retreats rules and regulations.

** Sorry this cottage is suitable for adults only, no children and NOT pet friendly.

Fantastic location, beautiful town. We lived our morning walk to the coffee shop and then to the ocean overlook and down to the beach. Property was easy to find, spacious, and very clean.

Door locks need to be replaced. It would be nice to have at least a hot plate & pan plus more amenities (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap). Disappointed that we had to take out the trash yet they asked for a housecleaning gratuity. Tub was backing up from all the hair clogged in the drain (gross!). Otherwise a cute & comfortable place

Awesome house, perfect location, has everything I needed and very clean. Bed super comfortable, restaurant right across the street was delicious, and it’s super close to the beach. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

What a fabulous cottage! We were mostly out and about but this cottage was clean and comfortable while we were here. We already plan to be back and this will be our first choice when we do! Highly recommended.

Awesome place! Very inviting and cozy. Short walk to the beach overlook. Nice add-ins like the game and book shelf, local information available, and emergency lighting (that we did use during a power outage). Lighthouse nearby. Close by restaurant, Larrupine' Cafe, had a sample board with several locally made food items, and the food was phenomenal!

Long Weekend

Absolutely loved the location!! Short walk down to the beach and a few hiking options. In depth binder with lots of info on town and cottage. Yard is very small & looks pretty unused but you're next to the coast & Redwoods!

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Crabber's Cottage. Just terrific. Property was updated and extremely clean. Perfect size for us. Quiet neighborhood. We walked down to our favorite beach next to lighthouse below town. Just epic. Our favorite stay on our Oregon/California coast trip! Thankyou!

Lovely stay in a clean, modern cabin with a great bed

Crabber’s Cottage is centrally located to all eateries in Trinidad, which an excellent coffee place a few yards away. The elevated view of the ocean is lovely. It’s a short drive to the beach. The cottage is exceptionally clean and the bed is amazingly comfortable.
