"This is an older hotel but had been updated nicely. Our room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. Hotel location is convenient to most things, including the historic area. Breakfast was good, the chef was friendly, and was around and attentive to keeping the food replenished. He interacted with the guests, making suggestions for things to do in the area. All of the staff we saw were friendly."

"Amazingly well maintained, historic property! Great location too! We were charged extra for “amenities” and I’m still not sure what those were. We still enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable."

"Everything was great, clean room, bathroom clean enough towels, beds comfy BUT the ONLY thing that I didn’t like was the BREAKFAST it was very simple, and there was very little of it; plus, if you asked the young women for anything, they ignored you and seemed angry."

"As travelers with accessibility needs, this hotel is top on our list! Super clean, great bathroom space / shower / grab bars. Super nice, relaxed lobby and lounge. The staff asked if we needed additional help, but not in the “poor you in a wheelchair” kind of way. Also - just up the hill (walkable/wheelable) is Ska Brewery — excellent outdoor atmosphere, kids playing in safe natural areas while adults enjoyed a beer. Highly recommend!"

"The location is good. There is a coffee shop/ bakery across the street, which is good as there is no coffee in-room. Our shower was missing a diffuser, so hopefully that will be addressed for the next guest."

"The property was in an excellent location and we were able to walk to downtown Durango and the train station in 10 to 15 minutes. The staff was exceptionally friendly and informative and gave excellent suggestions regarding restaurants and places to visit or tips when visiting. I will stay there again if ever in Durango."
