"Lovely pub/restaurant with small accommodation, ideal if out and about all day and to come back and have a good choice of food or carvery! Wash down with a well selected bar of drinks . Staff were ever so helpful and service was fantastic! Highly recommend a stay here as a good base to venture off to different places of cornwall. "

"It was just what we needed. Easy to find and a lovely position. It wasn't too far from everything but was not in the madness of the city. Huge room and well cleaned and always organised by the time we returned each day "

"This hotel was nice, room was good size and very clean. It was a little hot but had a fan. Check in easy and friendly. Dinners and breakfast was good however a little slow at times. "

"Very welcoming. Amazing location, with epic views. Easy to get to Fistral beach and Crantock beach. Wicked spot at the top of the hill 5 mins walk to the top of cliff edge to watch the sunset. Restaurant food was delcious for breakfast and dinner. Room size prefect, we had the family, which had a seperate room songle room adjoined to our double. Amazing ocean view from the hotel. Free parking, no issues . All the staff were very polite and very accomodating. Definitely will stay again we...

"The only downside were the parking facilities. Only 3 spaces. However, apart from that everything was excellent. The food quality and quantity, the friendly staff, the room and facilities were all excellent. Highly recommended."

"It’s a very good hotel in the centre of Truro. Ideal for sight seeing, shopping in a very good selection of shops. Large stores as well as boutique shops and a thriving market place. A good restaurant at the hotel as well as other dining establishments in the locality."

"My daughters and I stayed in early Aug. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are comfortable and the indoor pool is lovely. You’re opposite Fistral Beach, the surf hire shop next door is ideal. Parking is not great, make sure you pre-book or you’re in trouble! The food at Breakfast is Ok but nothing special. The staff were excellent, very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We’d definitely go back, but only if the parking was pre-booked. "

"We’ve just checked out from Lazy Waves and wanted to share our lovely experience. We spent a wonderful weekend here. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the location is perfect- right across from the famous Towan Beach with the iconic house on the island. The owners themselves run the place, which makes a real difference - you can feel the care and warmth in everything. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the homemade breakfast was a lovely touch. We’ll definitely come back...

"Beautiful old farmhouse in a quiet location with lovely views . Hannah was the perfect hostess who greeted us warmly on our arrival and made us very welcome . The farmhouse always felt warm and our room was very comfortable and well equipped . We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the ensuite . "

"An exceptional stay. Superb staff. I stayed with my teenage sons and puppy and the care and attention shown by staff was above and beyond. The hotel might not have 5 stars or be deemed luxurious, but the comfort, friendliness and level of service, far surpasses many of the 5 star hotels I have visited. It was tailored to meet our needs perfectly! We will return!"
