Spacious home perfect for large families

Blue Valley is the perfect getaway destination for a large family or group of friends looking to capture the best that Northern Michigan has to offer. This home comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The home is located in Traverse City, MI and offers a peaceful, private setting. The front of the home boasts a wooded view and from the back of the house guests can take in an expansive valley view from both the upper deck and lower patio area.

The large kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed for a family meal or entertaining, including both Keurig and drip coffee makers, and stove-top espresso maker. The Kitchen boasts a large island with a prep sink to keep everyone in the middle of the conversations. Guests will have all of the conveniences and comforts of home.

The main level of the home offers a lovely open floor plan with high ceilings throughout. The dining area includes a table that can easily accommodate 10+ people and seating for 5 at the island. There’s ample space for the family to gather in the living room on the new sectional couch and chairs with fireplace offering a comfortable atmosphere for guests in all seasons.

The sliding glass doors off the living room open to the large deck. The deck offers table and chairs for 8, 2 chaise lounges and a gas grill. A perfect place to take in the evening sunset or sip that morning cup of coffee.

The main floor bedrooms include the Main Suite (King) with walk-in closet and full bathroom including double vanity and soaker tub, and Guest room (2 XL Twins) which is nearby the main level full bathroom.

Also on the main level, guests will have access to a spacious laundry room with a washer, dryer, and utility sink.

The lower level of the home is very open and spacious with high ceilings. There’s a family room seating area with new couches, smart TV, fireplace, and game area including 9 foot shuffleboard, dart board, and wall mounted Connect 4 to name a few. Also, high-top table seating for 8 and wet bar with mini-fridge. Enjoy easy access to the outdoors with a nice patio seating area with chairs for 10, and propane bonfire table. The perfect place to make a s’more and talk about the day’s adventures.

There are three bedrooms in the lower level with a full bathroom. On one end there is a room with a king sized bed and across the hall there is a room with 2 XL twin beds. On the other end of the lower level is the bunk room- perfect for the children or adults with (2) XL twin over queen bunk beds, sleeping 6. ALL BEDROOMS have brand new mattresses and linens.

While Blue Valley has so much to offer for on-site for guest entertainment, its location puts guests close to all the area attractions:

10 minute drive to downtown Traverse City
5-10 minutes to TART trail access points (the area’s recreation trail perfect for biking/walking/rollerblading)
15 minutes to Old Mission Peninsula that boasts the areas best wineries
10 minutes to Spider Lake or Arbutus Public access points, and 18 minutes to Grand Traverse Bay boat access for those guests wanting to bring a boat (the property has plenty of space for trailer parking).

Blue Valley is sure to be the place where fond memories are made all year round.

Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.

We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and or dishwasher tabs if dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.
