The cabin, Hibernation Station is great. I will say, the check in process had us very concerned. When we arrived, we were given no instructions, no keys, no codes, or anything to check in. Check In was at 4pm, we arrived after 5 and found no way to get into the cabin. We phoned the number on the listing, no answer and was given an emergency contact number. We phoned and sent text messages with no response for well over an hour. My Wife and I were sitting in a parking lot in town deciding what to do and where to go, all on my Birthday no less. I phoned VRBO to assist and while on the line we got a call from a manager who would meet us with a key. This was near 6pm. While we got in, the manager said we would get a packet with check in information in the morning, all info on the cabin, and we never received that. The Host messaged after 7pm with check in info, and well that was nice, it was several hours late. I must say, first impressions speak volumes. Being told you manage 95 rentals made us feel like we just didn't matter since we were staying only 3 days. I'm not sure we would stay again with the check in process as chaotic as it was. What would have happened if we paid for a hotel room and then received the key? What if we started home? Those are concerning questions.
