"An excellent property, very homely, cosy and welcoming. Would definitely return. Found laundry basket, spare mattress covers and oven gloves in main bedroom. Not a great problem at all, but think these items were inadvertently left at the changeover clean. But this is not an important criticism - the property was wonderful."

"We spent 2 weeks in September, my husband and I and a further guest, who stayed for 10 days. We were very satisfied with the apartment, which was situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely view of the countryside from the lounge. Buxton was in walking distance (15 minutes). The apartment was nice and warm and the kitchen was well stocked, which included a generous deep freeze compartment. What we also liked was the fact that there was a space to park the car off road. "Property was very nicely decorated with a cosy feel with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Location was great - nice and rural, but close to Tideswell and Monsel Head. In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again. "

"Was a lovely place to stay, not too far from anything we wanted to do which was great. The host had kindly left milk, butter and eggs for us in the kitchen which we appreciated! The house was tidy and clean. My only comment would be that there were lots of cobwebs in the rooms but otherwise we had a lovely stay "

"Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there."

"Just got back yesterday from Riverview Cottage. Just lovely! Very comfortable and clean, it had everything that we needed. Pub across the road, garden to sit in with lovely trees to look at. Near the Manifold and Tissington trails for walking and cycling. We had a lovely time and were sad to leave."

"Nice quirky barn conversion and on a working farm if you like that sort of thing. Not well signposted and accessed by a farm track I wouldn't like to negotiate in winter. Given it's a twenty minute walk into Cromford a few tea bags and milk would have been welcome when we got there. Wine nice touch, tea facilities essential. Yes we could have taken our own.. "Felt a bit miss-sold, a 2 bedroom apartment which is basically a 1 bedroom, and a bed in a hallway. Hotel also didn’t give us the code, so we couldn’t get in, so spent an hour stood outside without a way of getting in. Fortunately some other guests arrived and let us in, or we’d have been out there all night….! "
