"Great location close to motorways for us to explore the Cotswolds and other areas. Nice and quiet and comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant was delicious. The service from staff on the front desk was great. They were extremely helpful. "

"Everything about the Cat and Custard Pot was perfect. They were extremely welcoming offering advice and help. The room was spotless and had everything you needed. The evening meal was delicious. The basil linguine was the best pasta I had had outside Italy. We thoroughly recommend this place. "

"Francis Hotel Bath is currently undergoing some refurbishment so unfortunately there was no lift to the third floor. The hotel warned us of the on-going work before our arrival which was very much appreciated. The staff made us feel very welcome and I very much appreciated the facilities provided in the bedroom. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"Amazingly good staff - friendly and efficient. Surprised no dining room for evening meals but with such good (Michelin starred?) pub 3 minutes walk away they were forgiven. New batteries, with cleaned contacts, were needed in the safe so it was a good job that we weren't too worried about leaving valuables in our room. Excellent breakfast!"

"Comfortable room with good amenities. Generally clean apart from at breakfast when there were a lot of tables that hadn’t been cleared, which gave it the feel of not being as clean as it could be. Good at breakfast was good, but lack of glasses, cutlery, etc wash frustrating."
