"This unit provided what we needed. Bed, bath, kitchen, laundry and living room. It’s quite comfortable. For us it was the perfect place to stay while touring this side of Newfoundland. It is a basement apartment so not the best if mobility issues are a concern as there are outside stairs to get to the unit. "

"The room is fine for a one night stay, for a quick shower, and sleep. Otherwise, it's a tight fit. The pictures are a bit deceiving. Could've been cleaned better. Had a half roll of toilet paper for a two day stay. Kids running around right above your heads at 10pm. 1 mug, a platter and plate placed sideways under the sink with toilet cleaner, etc.. Host was welcoming, polite, and nice."

"Lovely large property with quiet outside deck area, comfy bed, excellent communication from Alex, the host, laundry facilities more than adequate for a large family (biggest machines outside of a commercial laundry that I've seen!). One suggestion would be to have a set of smaller plates (side plates) rather than just the very large plates. Would have no hesitation in staying here again."

"Location is great. However there were a couple issues with the property. The shower didn't drain and filled up with dirty water very quickly. You could see some dirty fluids backfilling the tub once water entered the drain. It was bad enough that we didn't shower. Host said they would send someone over first thing in the morning to clear the drain and never sent anyone. The cleaning fee we had to pay was excessive, especially given the shower. I doubt they clean the shower regularly as it was...

"This is the cutest little property. Very cozy and inviting. It was nice to be out of downtown St.John’s but still within walking distance. Quidi Vidi is a perfect little community. All the amenities we needed were in the room. They even had ground coffee for us ready to go, however I thought it to be unsanitary to have the little scoop left in the container. Not sure when the last time that was washed. My only real complaint was the sub par cleanliness. I ended up buying a pack of Lysol wipes...
