Haus Mex - Groupaccomodation near Serfaus Fiss Ladis Ischgl

Wake up to three-thousand-metre peaks, fresh mountain air and the church bell drifting up from the village — Haus Mex is your home in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps. Set in the quiet alpine hamlet of Obertösens, just outside Tösens in the Tiroler Oberland, this bright and spacious 118 m² apartment was made for being together: long dinners after a day on the slopes, slow mornings with the valley waking up outside the window, and plenty of room for the whole group.

With four bedrooms, four en-suite bathrooms and space for up to 10 guests, Haus Mex is ideal for families and groups of friends who want comfort, space and genuine alpine warmth — without the flash. And with four ski areas within 30 minutes and the ski bus stopping right at the door, you're perfectly placed for winter and summer alike.

The layout

Everything on a single, generous floor:

Four double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and walk-in rain shower — no queue in the morning. 

A bright, open-plan living room with kitchen area and lounge — the natural heart of the apartment.

A cosy seating corner with a large TV (cable channels) and a PlayStation for relaxed evenings in.

A fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine and all the cookware you need to cook for the group.

A separate guest toilet.

A comfortable sofa bed in the living room, sleeping two extra guests.

A large south-facing terrace with morning sun and an open valley view — coffee outside, feet up, mountains in front of you.

Comforts: Fast fibre Wi-Fi throughout (terrace included), central heating, a heated ski room with boot warmers and lockable storage for skis and bikes, and four free parking spaces right at the front door. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement — Haus Mex is named after our husky Mex, after all.

The surroundings

Obertösens sits where Austria, Switzerland and Italy meet — quietly central, yet a world away from the crowds. In winter, five ski areas are within reach: family-famed Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis (214 km of pistes, 20 min), quiet and wide Nauders am Reschenpass (25 min), the snow-sure Kaunertal Glacier (30 min, open into May) and sunny little Fendels, perfect for kids (15 min). And for the real adventurers, you can drive over to Samnaun in Switzerland to enjoy the perks of tax-free shopping — then take the cable car up and ski the famous slopes of Ischgl! Winter hiking paths start right from the front door.

In summer, the same valley becomes a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers, with cosy mountain huts, alpaca walks, and a day trip to Lake Reschen and Italy just 30 minutes away. Innsbruck airport is a little over an hour by car.
