Apart from the barman, the owners completely ignored us on arrival while huddled around a table with their backs to us. "We very much enjoyed the company of Fiona and the warm and friendly atmosphere. The breakfasts were made to order and very delicious. "

"It’s a lovely cottage which contains pretty much all you need. It’s very warm inside and there are lovely features. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, some biscuits and milk which was very thoughtful. Improvements would be that 3 people wanted a shower but the hot water ran out after 1.5 people. Also there were a few cobwebs around and it could do with a paint touch up here and there. Great value for money and we had a lovely stay."
