"The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. "We were asked to book a breakfast time slot on arrival, so we selected 8:30–9:00. However, when we went down that morning, all the doors were locked and there was no staff present. We tried every contact number provided, including the delivery and service numbers advertised, but received no answer or callback. "Would be better if there was air conditioning in the rooms. They do offer a fan if needed though. We also asked for a kettle in our room which was much better than walking down the corridor in my night dress to get a drink from the drinks station in the corridor. Over all..more than happy to stay again."

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."
