"Nicht empfehlenswert. Der Service unaufmerksam, im Wellnessbereich sichtbarer riesiger Schimmel, Zimmer zur Straße hin zu laut. Frühstück sehr einfach gehalten, Service beim Frühstück unterirdisch, man durfte nur in der einem bestimmten Bereich sitzen, in diesem wurde aber nicht neu eingedeckt , anderer Raum zwar eingedeckt aber an einem Tag sollten wir dort sitzen am nächsten Tag wurden wir unfreundlich angemeckert wir sollen doch im Hauptraum bleiben und Bescheid geben wenn wir keinen Platz...

"Personal war sehr freundlich, eine tolle Austattung des Fitnessstudios. Abzug gibt es hauptsächlich wegen dem Essen. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war sehr begrenzt und nicht besonders gut. Überwiegend "Zucker und Fett". Wir haben ein Mal das Abendessen in Anspruch genommen. Das Buffet besteht überwiegend aus frittierten und TK(?) Waren. Abwechslung und gesünderes sucht man leider auch. Bar war sehr gut und auch leckere Cocktails (inkl. Happy Hour) "

"Celebrated an anniversary and birthday while staying at the Waxenstein. An anniversary card and chocolates in our room and a special birthday breakfast table with champagne for my wife’s birthday. All unexpected but greatly appreciated. No doubt our future trip to Grainau will include a stay at the Waxenstein."

"An excellent hotel with a great location and delicious breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to the cable car and with beautiful centre of Garmisch just around the corner. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable for the family of three. The room was very well equipped, including free beverage in the fridge (Arolser beer was a particularly good one), Nespresso machine as well as slippers and bathrobes.
