"This place was an absolutely wonderful find! Its location right off the motorway is incredibly convenient, and it’s a quick drive to Waterford. We were a family of four (with an infant) and were delighted to be allowed to check-in early as our room was ready. "We stayed in the cabin in the back which was…. Absolutely adorable and as pictured. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...

"Lovely stay at lord Beganals. The property is fabulous tastefully decorated and beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby. Staff are very friendly special mention to Karen and Kay breakfast team !! Food in restaurant also delicious and freshly prepared very efficient even though it was very busy Sleepy little village with lovely walk along the river If you want to make this place even more special consider adding a spa or pool. No matter we’ll be back 💚"

"Only negative was that there wasn't an elevator. Staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and provided great service. Reception staff helped with baggage due to some of us being a bit incapacitated."

"Not the most to do in the area by foot. Rooms were fine, pretty middle of the road. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Beds were a little on the firm side for us. "

"The room was lovely, and the staff were great. When we arrived, two beautiful dogs were waiting at the hotel door. It was therapeutic after a long day of travelling overseas. The hotel is beautiful, and I especially enjoyed having a drink or two at Tupper's Bar. Will be staying here again the next time I'm in Kilkenny."
