"I liked having the kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The free standing fan came in very handy as it was very hot when I visited. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and found it very quiet. Handy to have shops and restaurants nearby. Great to have free parking right at the front of the building."

"Wonderful short stay at Barnet House. Easy check-in with a code upon entry system. The unit had a full kitchen with high quality, brand new amenities including pots and pans, coffee maker, utensils and nice ceramics too. The unit would be have been even better if there was a least one shelf to put away groceries and a place to hang clothes or jackets, even a few hooks on the wall would make a huge difference if we wanted to stay longer than a few nights. "Lovely new property - had everything you needed and very spacious. Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). Fabulous stay and would love to come back!"

"Very beautiful and comfortable cottage, decorated with great taste. Gifts on arrival, very warm welcome from the owners who were so friendly. Also beautiful dogs and cat. Wi-fi was very haphazard, but not the fault of the owners. Easy access by car to eating places and shops. Beautiful countryside. "

"The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future."

"My wife and I absolutely loved everything about the retreat! Prefect, quite setting. Jamie was a great host. Day trips from the retreat to St. Andrews, etc. were wonderful and restaurants in the area excellent - especially Corrie Inn and Delivino. We HIGHLY recommend the retreat!"

"Communication before our arrival was excellent. Getting into the property no problem. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very well equipped with everything that we needed. Great to have a small supermarket next door. The minor issue for us was having only one parking space per apartment although there was a lot of on street parking available. Would definitely stay again."
