Sunset Serenade Oceanview Property in Oceanside, 4 minute walk to beach.

This cozy 1950’s Sunset Serenade rustic beach house has a partial ocean view throughout the home and is centrally located in Oceanside with only a short walk to the downtown and public beach. Enjoy the stunning full ocean view and sunsets from the top deck and partial view on the enclosed bottom deck. Cuddle up by the warm wood-stove fire on cool evenings or crack the window on warm summer nights to hear the ocean lull you to sleep in this 1,020 square foot home with two floors.
On the top floor there is one queen bed in the master and a full-size bunk in the second room. Perfect for 2 adults and 2 children or a small couple. Bunks can sleep 2 people per double bunk.
The bottom floor has a bathroom, kitchenette that includes a second refrigerator, storage supply, pretty glassware, pull-out sleeper sofa and small TV (sleeper sofa not to be used for over-night sleeping per Tillamook County OR84). This room will be remodeled into a functional room of sorts (yet to be determined) but can be used for your imagination; Kids room, cocktail room, or just a place to relax, etc. (many accessories, couches, beds, and more are new) in this older home.

*Wireless internet service is free, and you can stream your favorite venue of choice.
*Games and cards are provided, as well as art supplies.
*Multiple places to view the ocean and the beach, both inside and outside of the cabin.
*maximum occupancy for 4 adults and 2 children 12 and under. Comfortable fit for 2 adults and 2 children or another adult couple.
*Master bedroom has a partial ocean view with sliding window to hear the soothing sounds of the surf.
*Your potty trained, and well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional fee. Dogs must be housebroken and please keep them off the furniture (Dog beds provided under the queen bed). Keep your dog on a leash when outside.
*Kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, French press, Pour Over, coffee grinder, waffle maker, microwave, bullet blender, and toaster. There are 2 refrigerators....one on each floor. There is no dishwasher, yet. There is a propane BBQ grill located directly on the second floor outside the door on the deck.
*Parking is available for 1 vehicle in front of the garage on the gravel driveway.
*This home has been licensed and inspected as a rental property by Tillamook County.
*Cell service in Oceanside is very sketchy but is available in the beach house. The closet service available is in Netarts…. coverage in Oceanside is not predictable .

We had such great time! We loved the roof top deck and being so close to Tunnel Beach! Beds were comfy and we slept really well. The only thing we suggest is better lighting in the living room. We wanted to play cards or a game at night, but there was no overhead light or lamp.

We enjoyed all of the surprise amenities, like the fireplace ready to light, the upper deck with great views and comfy chairs. The bedrooms, kitchen, bath, & living area are on the second floor (perhaps not best for families with babies, toddlers, or persons with mobility issues). We enjoyed our stay.

The house is older than I gathered from online photos, but was fine. The kitchen has everything you might need, much better-supplied than most places. Books, games,lots of streaming stations on big TV. Wood fireplace in L.R. & propane firepit on deck.We were greeted with a nice guest basket in the frig: wine, cheese, chocolate. Enough pillows & blankets for an army. Queen bed in 1 room. Other has bunk beds with full-sized mattresses-actually quite comfy. Notebook with lots of info, how-to's and local ideas. Unless there were stairs we didn't find (we looked), beach is a bit longer walk, including a section of hill as steep coming back up as it is going down. It was a nice beach with lots of people on it. You can drive there is about 5 minutes-free parking lot & toilets. The manager (& owner I think) was easy to reach, & flexible about check-in & -out times. Got directions (easy) etc from her ahead of time. Nice place to hang out.

The house is super cute and clean with a great view from the roof. We were only here for a couple of days but wish we could’ve stayed longer. Plenty of room and stocked with everything you might need! Lori answered my questions super quick and was very nice. Would love to come back :)

The house was great, very cute and rustic. The view is beautiful and the sunsets from the upper deck are amazing. The town is not a tourist town which we enjoyed. It was so quiet and we never encountered any crowds. Our only issue was the second bedroom is a kids room. My SIL slept in the top bunk but not all adults could do that. The host was so nice and we had no problems communicating. I would recommend this house to couples and families.

Such a unique, special place

Our family of 5 loved our stay in Oceanside. The home had plenty of space for all of us and so many games and puzzles for us to do. It was an easy walk to the beach (much shorter than many staying farther up the hill). The view from the rooftop deck is amazing. Lori was the best host - super helpful and responsive. We were so comfortable in her home and enjoyed our stay.

Very clean and well equipped. Beautiful area. The only inconvenience for us was that the bathroom (especially in the lower level) was kind of small. But that is because my son is very tall and didn’t have much room to move .We very much enjoy our stay.

Great Beach House

The house is definitely older, but the furnishing were very nice. The house had nearly everything we needed. The view from the top deck is terrific. Sadly it was way too windy to stay up there and light the the firepit.

Cute place with tall charm

Each floor level is its own experience with the upstairs roof deck to be a spectacular view of the ocean. It was beautiful during sunset. The upstairs room with the corner windows was my favorite to hang out in. Thank you for the memories.

Cozy Getaway On Oregon Coast

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Lori's place. The first words that come to mind in describing her Oceanside residence are charming and cozy. It’s spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children or 4 adults, with and upstairs and a down -stairs both with separate heating and kitchens. Her decorating is wonderful, I love the corals and blues, everything is coordinated, if I were decorating my own beach house it would be very similar. It is beautiful but not too fussy and she has thought of everything you could possibly forget or want. Or arrival was simple and there was a lovely basket of cheeses, snacks and bubbly which was not expected but a definite, "I like her style!"...she even provided treats and a raincoat for the dog!We had originally been looking at hotels, but this was sooo much better. When my clothing was soaked by an unexpected wave; I was able to come back and wash my clothes. Plus the backyard has warm water coming out of the house so you can wash off the dog before you bring them into the house, something I wish I had in my home. We came to Oceanside for the agates, and we weren't disappointed. We were expecting rain and after arriving we were half-way hoping it would rain so we would have an excuse to stay in and read, but it never happened…three nice dry days, including a beautiful sunny one. If rain is in the forecast don't let that stop your trip, the house has games, puzzles, art and books, so much to do! Thank you Lori, and we’ll be back!
