"Standard room was not good. I changed to different room. Staffs were excellent and very cooperative and accommodating us very well. Good location near Marine Drive. But too far from the airport."

"I stayed at the Artiste for four nights. The hotel arranged seamless transfer from the airport. All reception staff (especially Abhirami) and all staff in the hotel were extremely helpful and courteous. "Good hotel for its price. No extra bedsheet between the bed skirt and the blanket, so you are sleeping under a blanket which may not have washed forever. "

"We had three rooms booked for a party of 6. The bathroom in one of the room was smelly and remained so even after the staff did some cleaning there. Most of the towels had a mildewy smell. I'd say about half the towels. Finally, the drain in the shower does not keep up with the tap. As you shower the soapy water starts to pool at your feet.
