Elm St Charmer- Enjoy the detail and character of a 1910 farmhouse with high-end upgrades in this inviting 5 bed/3 bath Three Oaks home. Great for multiple families or groups coming to town for a wedding, with separate hang out spaces for adults and children. A convenient 6min walk to the downtown area, enjoy the shopping/dining/entertainment without needing to drive! Newly remodeled gourmet kitchen with quartz countertops and Viking stove, and modern air conditioning.

Also close to beaches, breweries, restaurants, kayaking, wineries, antique shops, fruit farms, art galleries, and farmer's markets. Splits the distance between the best local wineries and New Buffalo, making this the perfect getaway. House comes equipped with all you'd need to for a stress free getaway, including a stocked kitchen.

Main floor has great open area for entertaining/family meal time- including bench seating, couch/loveseat, and large kitchen table. Main floor also includes:

- Bathroom #1: full bathroom, tub/shower combo
- Additional sitting area for coffee and/cocktails

Our family enjoyed their stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was perfect for our family and close enough to surrounding towns to explore. This is our second time staying at this house and look forward to future stays!

We were only in for a family reunion on Saturday so did not spend much time at the house BUT it was so relaxing it made us feel very comfortable. Host was great. House had a lived-in, homey feeling - overall clean. Only negatives were that I could find an iron but no ironing board. And the bathroom supplies were limited. Bars of soap in the cabinets that had already been opened (not in paper). It would be nice to consider pumps for body soap and shampoo. Location worked out well for us.

The property is as advertised. We were very comfortable. We attended a wedding at Journeyman distillery and it was less than a mile walk from the house. Our host was great. She even provided a welcome bottle of wine in the fridge. Because we had a family member with Alzheimer’s who is 84, I would suggest a handrail on the landing and the upper stairs. She could not be downstairs as we needed her own bedroom, but to be close to us. Husband mentioned shower caddy’s in bathrooms would be nice.

The house was amazing and we had more than enough room, which accomodated us in very hot weather. The house was clean with plenty of supplies for us to use while we were there. Cannot say enough about how great this place was.

Quiet Town

We appreciated the nice touch of having a complimentary bottle of wine from the owner to enjoy during our stay. Except from some details, the property was good and a few blocks from the downtown area. Three Oaks is a small, quiet town. However, New Buffalo (only about 10 minutes away), offered a lot of activities.The doors to the bathrooms and bedrooms did not have locks, which we have preferred (the bedroom door on the first floor needs to be adjusted so it can be closed all the way without forcing it). The bunk beds were not comfortable; they were very squeaky and noisy.While the kitchen was supplied in many ways, the main cooking items were skillets with one small saucepan and one Dutch Oven. Overall, we enjoyed the visit.

Vacation with family

We were 3 families getting together for a short family vacation. We had been to this area before camping but this trip we wanted to be together in a house. Our house was exactly what we needed and we loved the older house charm. The kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms updated and clean, plenty of seating for meals and dinners, and location to downtown and the beach perfect. The host was quick to reply to our messages. Fall wedding stay

This property was perfect for our needs! Walking distance to downtown and the Journeyman that was the wedding venue. Clean and comfortable, we just wished we had more time to enjoy this beautiful home and the surrounding areas.

Great house close to downtown

This is the third time my group has stayed at this house and we just love it for our group. The large inviting kitchen is such a plus, and it’s close to the downtown for meals out. Owner is very responsive.

Wedding Weekend

We were in town for a family wedding and found the perfect house for the weekend!! We had a lot of laughs and family time. The house had everything we needed, and then some. It was big enough that we weren't on top of each other. The kitchen table was awesome ... big enough to fit everyone for a game night. We had a great host and would definitely recommend this house for your next visit to Three Oaks.
