"We stayed downtown at the Element for General Conference and had a fabulous experience! First of all, when you walk in the hotel, it smells AMAZING - they really should sell that fragrance! Our room was spacious and bright - very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and very tasty. Fruit-infused water stations were found throughout the building to keep us hydrated. "Bed was above average as hotel beds go. They popped a $20 a night parking fee on me at the desk, which was pretty lame. The desk people were pretty average, even slightly annoying and unhelpful. The "Fitness Center" was about 90 percent cardio with very little else. They could have easily taken out half the cardio equipment and replaced it with anaerobic machines. On Expedia it said it would be $139/night but it ended up being $200/night. Next time I stay in SLC I'll probably be staying...
