"This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. It was a great find for the pinch we were in when the trains were shut down and we didnt have a place to stay."

"The hotel is in a lovely building, but the decor in our room was odd and dated - it needed a bit of tlc and updating in our opinion. Lovely views of the city and beyond. We wish the blinds/curtains had been black out, as it got quite light in the morning. The big light in our room flickered a lot, so we couldn’t use it. Free parking was great. The room was cleaned each day and had basic amenities - kettle with tea and coffee, ironing board and a safe in the wardrobe."

"The Moxy hotels are a bit different as the lobby is the bar and is where you check in. Staff at check in (Melissa?) was friendly and helpful and the lobby offered complimentary water as well as seating areas and games. Our room was small, but clean, but had limited storage; no dressers or closets -- just a small hanging bar. The bathroom was tiny but clean. Breakfast was quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at while in Scotland, but they did offer complimentary coffee until...

"Staff appear over run by the amount of visitors to this hotel - management need to consider this! Breakfast is chaos, perhaps consider allocating time slots on check in? Breakfast was appeared hot but of average quality. We gave up because it was so hectic. Can't fault the staff on the ground floor, they're doing a great job under very difficult conditions from what I witnessed. They need better support!"

"The hotel was overbooked and they couldn’t give us the room we had asked for which resulted in a member of my party having to sleep in a sofa bed. When we went down with our bags to the front desk, the woman there asked me “if I had ever booked a twin room before” implying that I didn’t know what I was talking about and should be happy with my room. We left and came back to the issue fixed but it totally ruined the first night and morning of our trip. I won’t ever be booking with them again. "
