Sheep Wagon

My girlfriend, Alex & I pulled up to the property where we were greeted by the friendly dogs on the property. We then met Jamie, the property owner’s daughter in law & her son Wylie, who were the sweetest people ever. They ended up showing us around & chatting with us until it was time to go to bed. The sheep wagon itself is such a fantastic idea & located on the perfect property. Definitely an experience everyone should try out.

The wagons were nice and so was the property. It was an easy check in and out. We only had two small complaints: 1) our pillows didn't have pillow cases, and we looked through all of the bedding that was left for us and could not find any. 2) our wagon didn't have any curtains, whereas the other one did. We enjoyed our stay and we would do it again. The view was beautiful and the property was quiet.

We liked the horses that were on the property. Cows across the street. Bathroom was clean, inside the wagon was clean and tidy but a little cramped. Those are the high points. We did not like the knee high grass around the wagon. We did not like the fact that at 100 degrees there is no AIR CONDITIONING!!! The sun comes up and hits the property at 6am, by 9am it's already baking with no shade until 7pm. The table that is shared by both wagons is so sun beaten that if you touch the top you get a splinter. The wood door to our wagon was so rotted that a 6 year old could tear it off with one hand to the point that we had to be extremely careful not to rip door off hinges. Horse flies galore. Not kid friendly. For $120 per night after all fees it is not worth it. We are not premadonnas, but we left one night sooner then scheduled and forfeited the last night expenses, we are on a month long excursion and we were not going to let this very rough stay ruin our trip. NOT RECOMENDED. Shame on Expedia for listing this place has a clamping retreat, just shameful.

The worst experience I have ever had. There was no heater in the unit (the temperature was 37°F when I arrived). The host never provided the unit number and never responded to any of my follow-up messages. They left us waiting at the location for two hours just to answer the phone and respond. I left immediately after opening the door and seeing the condition of the place. The unit was unacceptable, and the bathroom was disgusting as well.
