Hideaway farm cottage in walking distance of Coast Path & Manorbier Village

An idyllic 2 bedroom cottage near to breath-taking beaches with enclosed quaint patio garden and parking all set in the grounds of a 250 year old farm house with a long history in the quiet, seaside village of Manorbier.
Colby cottage is set in 10 acres of rolling grounds which have wonderful sea views of both Manorbier and Skrinkle bay. A short walk through the meadow will bring you within a stones throw of the village of Manorbier where you can find an excellent shop, handy post office, relaxed pub and cafe. Manorbier is a village with a wealth history, also featuring a beautiful castle with spectacular views of the bay, a picturesque church and not forgetting the stunning, secluded beach with parking in walking distance.
It is just 4 miles to the historic walled town of Tenby, with a bus service running near-by, all amenities can be acquired from here with a wide variety of restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops and a supermarket available. Pembrokeshire boasts a wealth of other beautiful beaches and places of interest including Bosherston Lily Ponds and Pembroke Castle all just a short drive away and not forgetting the enormous variety of fun days out on offer for the family including, Folly Farm, Manor Park, Heatherton, the Dinosaur Park and Oakwood.

The cottage is named after the peaceful woodland gardens of Colby. It encaptures the calmness of the woodland environment, with thoughtfully collected features, locally sourced art and decorations. It is a centrally heated 2 bedroom barn conversion with an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. There is an enclosed, gated, beautiful garden with patio, furniture and barbeque to the front of the property. Entrance is into a welcoming hallway with a door leading off to the lounge and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, pod coffee machine and slim line dishwasher. A cosy lounge with TV (freeview) and DVD has views out onto the garden area. Two double bedrooms one with double bed and one with a full sized single bed and a full sized single built-in raised bed, all with excellent quality bed linen provided and made up for your arrival. The Family bathroom has an elegant drench shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. The whole cottage has been thoughtfully redecorated and designed in 2018 to create an idyllic hideaway.

Lovely visit

We had a lovely stay. Very well equpped, nicely decorated and homely. Easy walk to coast path & Manorbier village. Highly recommend 'The Potting Shed' cafe in Manorbier Garden Centre.

An amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at the Colby cottage. Cottage is beautiful, very clean and there was everything we needed for our stay. Location is perfect too and the views are stunning, very peaceful. We normally like to stay in different places because we like to explore but we most definitely be coming back to this cottage. There is so much more to see in this area, don't think you can ever get bored. Thank you for making our stay perfect.

Well appointed, charactered cottage

Unfortunately I was poorly so we ended up being in the property more than we intended. But it wasn't much of a hardship. Lovely environment to be in. With well-equipped kitchen and the tv had all the streaming services that you would want. That said when we did get out its a great location. Some lovely local walks, plus some great national trust walks less than 20 mins drive away.

Birthday getaway

This was our second stay here and it didn’t disappoint. The cottage is lovely, great location and has everything you’d need. We’ve stayed at Wyndhill on many occasions and are never disappointed. If you don’t want to be right in Tenby-which we don’t-the cottages are perfectly positioned. Very comfortable and well equipped-we love coming here and are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Llinos and Russell

Couldn’t Ask For More

Lovely, cosy welcoming cottage. So clean and well equipped - even things you don’t even know you’ll need are provided - all very well thought out. Fabulous location - you can easily drive places and there’s a nice walk down to the beach and local pub. We have stayed at Colby Cottage three times now and I would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful cottage, great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Manorbier! The cottage was tidy and spotless and had everything you could need.The welcome pack and the box of toys for the children was a lovely extra surprise. We just wished we could have stayed for longer! Thank you.

Location excellent, accomodation excellent. Really can't say enough about the hosts, they've got everything spot on, very cosy cottage with beautiful period character. 20 min to beach, Tenby 15 min drive. Beautiful scenery all round. Will be booking again. Thank you for a fabulous stay! again ..

Lovely Gem

We recently stayed at Colby Cottage . Colby was lovely , Clean and very welcoming, well equipped, warm and cosy. We only had 2 nights here , we were visiting family in Tenby, now we have found this gem we will certainly visit here again! Perhaps next time try one of the other cottages on site ! Lovely little cottage

Absolutely fantastic little cottage. Everything that is needed is there. Lovely welcoming hamper. Exceptionally clean cottage. Close to manorbier bay, castle and meadows, great for dog walks. Will hopefully be back in the summer. Thank you for letting us stay 😊

A welcome return to a lovely cottage

This was our second stay at Colby Cottage and it was great to return after two years. As ever the cottage was immaculately clean and really well presented. As previously the welcome pack for both us and our dog was very thoughtful. The only slight moan was the continuous dripping from the shower

Perfect!

We absolutely loved Colby Cottage- spotlessly clean, everything was great quality, super comfy beds & bedding & had everything we could possibly need. A real home from home & we loved coming back to it night after fab days out with our boys. The whole site had a lush relaxed feel & we were sad to leave!
