"Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Running this place is not easy but the family are doing their absolute best as custodians. They are fully dedicated and committed to making Chateau de Candes a success. Merci Bertrand et Sam. We will definitely be back."

"We had a wonderful time. The villa was as described. It was very clean and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding very good. It was in a lovely setting, with a very nice swimming pool and the main town was not far away, so was very convenient to get to, by car, for gift shops (not many, but a few) and restaurants. You definitely need a car though to get around as everywhere is too far to get to if you walk. We did notice a bus stop within a couple of minutes walk from...

"Nous avons passé 4 jours au manoir entre amis avec enfants . Le manoir ainsi que le domaine sont magnifiques! Le cadre est top , vert , calme , reposant . Il y a de quoi occuper tout le monde : piscine , orangerie avec jeux , la rivière avec canoë et la barque …etc Les photos correspondent bien au logement ( c’est juste plus grand en vrai ! ) Tres bien équipé , bonne literie . Bref tout le monde est ravis :) encore merci . "

"Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Ferienhaus von Anne und Michel Lebrun. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war super und der Empfang am Anreisetag sehr herzlich. Zu unserem Glück können die Gastgeber sehr gut Englisch. Das Ferienhaus ist liebevoll und gut eingerichtet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Terrasse liegt so wunderbar, dass man Ende Mai von morgens bis abends Sonne hat. Der große, gepflegte und beheizte Pool ist natürlich nochmal etwas ganz besonderes. "A three night stay to break our journey back to Roscoff and lovely to relax here. Unfortunately due to weather (it was October!) we couldn't sit outside which looks a lovely space. Hopefully we will be back in better weather."

"Well appointed gite in a very quiet hamlet very close to Azay-Le-Rideau. The gite has been well renovated, has a large garden and is very weĺl equipped. The hosts were charming and helpful and although they lived next door, were very unobtrusive yet always available for advice/help. Would be very happy to come back again."

"Every time we come to the Loire Valley we stay here. It is even better than in the description. The owner provides everything you could possibly need. This visit was the first time we used the fireplace and it was divine in the evenings. The owner provides everything you need for the perfect fire. Emilie took excellent care of us during our stay with swift communication and a sparkling clean 3-story mill home for our stay. Looking forward to our next stay!"

"Lovely two-week springtime stay, seeing nature in and around the attractive small lake change in front of our eyes. We pretty much had the site to ourselves - there’s an adjoining gite but it’s discretely separate. WiFi was installed whilst we were there; a nice bonus we didn’t expect. Very well equipped, clean and with wonderful, caring owners. Thanks for the tasty home-made jams and local wine. Well situated for visiting the area. Our big dog had fun too. Recommended!"
