The venues are kind of boring. I miss the original four seasons bar that was awesome. And there is construction everywhere and nothing is mentioned on the website about it so we basically had noise at 8:30 in the morning and a terrible view from our room. "

"My first time staying an a Canopy property and I was beyond impressed. Everything was so cozy and clean and aesthetically appealing. The neighborhood was safe and the train was a block away. The set up of the hotel is good with different areas for eating, studying, sleeping, etc. Negative: NOISE while you are going to sleep/sleeping. "Room was nicely designed. It wasn’t large but I was the only person staying in it so it was fine. Nice view towards Nathan Philips Square and many skyscrapers in the distance. The front desk staff were kind, efficient, and helpful."

We had fresh sheets on the bed, and fresh garbage bin, but there were random pompoms (?) around the room, and the bathroom walls are pretty stained. It's the best value for the location though! I ended up being charged more at check in, than I was quoted on my Expedia booking, which was a bummer. But...

"The room is very basic, which is fine, but just not worth the expense. The renovations are very amateur hour, if not hilarious. The toilet seat on the toilet doesn't even fit, so it's not attached. That detail alone tells you how serious of an operation this is. Please note that there is no staff on site whatsoever, so you need to be able to check in remotely and may not get in-person service if you need it. "
