Kaakinmaa’s streets reflect Tampere’s rich industrial past. Just around the corner, the historic Pyynikki Trikoo Factory, founded in 1903 by Alfred Kordelin, was once one of Finland’s most prominent knitwear manufacturers. It was especially known for the Atlas brand and the popular Revontuli clothing line.
