Giving 3 stars bc breakfast was good and most of the staff I encountered were very very nice. However, checking in was horrible and my room wasn’t the cleanest. During check in the system was messing up and the charge to my card didn’t go through on their end but clearly did mine. The older gentleman checking me in didn’t seem to care until I showed him the charge on my app had gone through and the full amount for the room had left my account. All of a sudden he saw that it had gone through but for a lower amount and proceeded to charge me separately for the difference. At this point just wanted to get into my room with my two kids as it was 10:30 pm and we had been trying to figure this out for nearly an hour. Later learned this was the tax, but the charge to my original card was never adjusted to reflect the lower amount he claimed they had from my card. I had Spoken with a young lady who was able to return the additional charge to my card but upon checkout was told to charge it back by her management. Now for the room itself, there was a stale smell that seemed to be coming from the air unit and hair stuck to the wall. I had Reserved a room for my mother as well and she had a huge hole in some of her bedding. The walls are also incredibly thin, luckily my moaning neighbors were only checked in for one night. Will probably not stay here again.
