Overall, purely as a clean, nice hotel, excellent. I called ahead multiple times for a fragrance-free and as scent-free as possible, room, due to allergies, noted it in my booking, called and was assured twice it would happen. I made my allergies to fragrances and scents very clear 3 x and did my due diligence. Room was clean, but had a strong fragrance. Upon arrival was actually given a room that was not fragrance free and had to be corrected. Why? The room was no where near fragrance free and it was if they only took the note in the booking and ignored it. I had no choice but to stay since my arrival was in the evening. I struggled through the night with multiple reactions to the fragrances, had to take a lot of medicines to help me through.
On another note, the Manager's reception was a big disappointment. Bar staff was not friendly and the snacks were swiss cheese, crackers, celery, carrots, ranch dip and trail mix. I didn't expect extravagance, but a little more would have been more along the lines of how it is marketed and pictured on their advertisements. Breakfast, the custom omelet was okay, soggy pancakes, broken waffle mix device--employee stuck her non-gloved hand up into the spout to pull it down to let mix flow, wow, no way to warm cold hard pastry. I was surprised at the low level experience this was.
Not a good experience, but having a friendly staff was nice. I could not stay here again due to the fragrances.
