Nestled on over 200 feet of private beach on the gorgeous North Shore of Hood Canal, this family-friendly getaway boasts fabulous views of the Olympic Mountains and the canal. Between the gorgeous sunsets, Olympic Mountain views, towering forests, constantly changing tidal beaches, and regular visits from wildlife, you and your traveling companions will be constantly entertained. 



Inside, find an open great room with floor-to-ceiling picture windows showcasing the 180-degree views of the water and the opposite shore. Detailed with maple hardwood floors, an ambient gas stove, and a large smart TV, there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax. Spend quiet afternoons sipping your beverage of choice on the huge deck and watching the sun dip below the mountains. 

A full kitchen features all you need to create your favorite recipes, and a large dining table has plenty of space for everyone to gather at mealtime. Upstairs, a well-furnished loft provides a desk with a monitor and basic office supplies for any work you couldn't leave at home, as well as a large smart TV for memorable family movie nights. Added entertainment perks include a telescope and a wide array of family games, puzzles, and books. When you’re ready to end the day, tuck younger travelers into the cozy bunk room, which has a double-over-double bunk bed as well as a single trundle, while you choose between two queen bedrooms, each with a memory foam mattress.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This home was amazing, plenty of space with large beds for adults on a mini vacation. Best surprise was a fully operational kitchen that included a KitchenAid. We were thrilled with all the extra kitchen utensils and appliances. The 180-degree bay window was exceptional, we saw plenty of wildlife just sitting in the living room. The hardest challenge was getting to the house, the steep driveway was no joke, highly recommend arriving while there is still day light. I will definitely return this summer, it's an exceptional home and location!

My family had an incredible stay! The location can't be beat. You'll essentially have your own private (shell-filled) beach, which was great for tide pooling with young kids (don't forget to bring Keen water shoes). There were endless views of the Olympic mountains. 4WD or AWD if there is inclement weather would be helpful for the steep road down to the house. The house itself is well equipped with significantly better than most rental kitchen equipment, art, etc. The outdoor swing was a hit with the kids, and we certainly took advantage of the grill. My family plans to return on our next trip to the area!

What an amazing property! The house, the views, stunning! The wifi non-existent, the property management not helpful with the situation. Spent way too much time trying to figure it out, calling, re-setting, waiting...only to to hear "sorry" after 2 days. "We will make it right" and "We will give a credit" then nothing. No wifi also equals no TV. So we made the best of it. The house is perfect, very secluded and clean! The driveway a little treacherous glad we arrived in daylight. Would definitely stay again provided there was wifi available.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. We kayaked in the two-person kayak and were able to bring our family pet. The photos in the listing don't even do the views justice! The kitchen was very well equipped. There were plenty of board games.

This place is pretty awesome. Was hesitant at first as not many reviews. But, this place is stocked, clean, modern enough and right on the water! It's very quiet and serene. Amazing sunsets over the Olympic mountains. Cool mornings and warm afternoons. Place has everything you need, full kitchen, bathroom toiletries, washer and dryer, etc... pro/cons: very very remote! No stores, no bars, no nada... so be sure to bring your party with you. Secondly, only 1 streaming TV in the entire house, would be nice to have others in bedrooms. Lastly, the wifi and cell service is top notch. We would stay again!

We’ve rented a number of Hood Canal properties and are pretty comfortable with the area. This home is nicely appointed with well above average amenities such as games and puzzles and a well stocked and cared for kitchen. The 180 degree views of the Canal and Olympics are stunning. The only two cautionary notes are 1) the property is a long way from grocery stores, restaurants etc. For us the quiet and serenity more than made up for the isolation, particularly as many Canal properties are right next to each other. 2) the owners do not allow harvesting of shellfish. This is the only time we have encountered this. So if you’re looking forward to an oyster or clam dinner you’ll have to get them elsewhere. Apart from the above, this is a wonderful house and well worth a return trip!
