I feel like when a customer decides to extend there room, it is the responsibility of the staff to advise of the room charge increase verses a customer finding out when it is time to checkout and we think we are still paying the original rate but when no one says your daily rate is increasing significantly. Guests would assume the rste is still the same as when they checked. I was surprised with significant price hikes and was not made available at time of extension.
