"The waterfront with gazebo, paddle boat, canoe and sitting area are the main attraction at this basement suite. Unfortunately, we were rained out for 3 full days and spent our time inside, so offer that perspective. The kitchen is well-equipped. WIFI is good. We found the seating (1 love seat, 3 backless kitchen stools) somewhat uncomfortable for long periods of sitting (to read, for example). Upstairs noise is easily heard downstairs (footsteps, TV, vacuuming, flushing toilet drains). Washer...

"This place is very tranquil yet close to the Sydney area for convenience. We loved the views, listening to the waves crash, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. It was fun to watch the lobster boats come and go. There is a seafood market nearby where we bought fresh lobsters a few times. We had classic Cape Breton weather. Wind, rain, sun, thunderstorms (thankful for the generac that kicked on during the two power outages). This home is suitable for two people or perhaps two couples. Our only...

"Very cute place loved the private beach . The brown tinged water and smell was a bit of a turn off even though they have a water softener and everything in place. Also, I found the floors a bit dirty/sticky. It’s not well marked the house itself, a local had to help us find our spot. It was my first time using this check-in and had no internet so it made things a bit challenging for me."

"Although the Rita Suite was clean, comfortable and roomy, and it is in a great location, we found it lacked some basic amenities for travelers such as: Salt and Pepper, cooking oil, servettes, extra roll of paper towel, and sufficient amount of coffee pods for the length of our stay. As well, there was no "Welcome Basket" that we are accustom to seeing at other VRBOs that includes such things as preserves, crackers etc. (i.e. small items that are often not brought by travelers). Lastly, there...
