"I REALLY wanted to love this hotel. It’s a nice hotel, it’s clean, affordable, and the location is great. We stayed for two nights. Check-in clerk was rude from the moment I greeted him. Spoke/mumbled very fast and was immediately frustrated when I asked him to repeat himself. We went on with our stay, not wanting to let it ruin the hotel experience. I checked my bank and realized $200 was on hold. I called the hotel figure out what’s going on and was told “the system has been double charging...

"My stay was not up to par. When check ing in we were told our room was not ready. This was at 5:30 p.m. All the staff said was sorry, nothing was done to rectify the problem. As this was my 70th birthday celebration we needed to change in the 1st floor bathroom, since we were trying to get to dinner and a concert at the Hard Rock Casino. "

"This was my second time to stay at the Tru in Milord, OH. The room felt clean and I love the scent of their lemon hand soap and body wash. I'm not a huge fan of their offerings for breakfast, but you can find something that you like well enough. I will continue to choose this hotel when I'm in town."

However when we got to our hotel we had booked the room was gross and the pool was not working so we were scrambling to find another place to go and could not have been more happy to find this place and now every time we go back to Kings Island this will be where we stay. Amanda who worked at the front desk was amazing so welcoming. Can’t wait to come back"
