Just a few miles away from the Matanuska Glacier, you pass these beautiful mountains. The colors in the afternoon were just breathtaking.

Didn’t realize the room we rented was not located in the large log-cabin lodge pictured on the website. Rooms are in a separate building; they’re are old and outdated; our carpet had not been vacuumed. The room smelled musty and unclean.
