"I love the historic charm of this hotel. Updates are done tastefully. Rooms are large and comfortable. Some of the furniture could use replacing, but there is a lot of work being done. Everyone we talked to on staff was professional, polite and helpful. Would definitely stay here again."

"We are very pleased with this hotel. We stay there every other month. It's fantastic. Great staff, beautiful and clean property. Beds are a little too soft for my taste and back. That's just me. But, overall, very comfortable. One big point, no cheap heavy ugly comforter. Beautiful down comfortable, light comforter. Great warm breakfast from 6 to 10:30. We love it there."

"The property was new and clean. It was convenient to where we were staying. The breakfast was very nice. We were sad that the pool was not open since that was one of the Considerations for choosing this hotel. We were in a room with a conjoining room. We could hear quite clearly everything that was being said in the other room. It's a good thing that they weren't having a party."

"Summer Wood was a wonderful experience! It is so inviting, clean and quiet with beautiful grounds. A great made to order breakfast every morning and a delightful happy hour for two hours every afternoon. I HIGHLY recommend this if you are in Paso Robles!"

"We loved our stay at the river Lodge! It is the cutest boutique hotel. I’ve stayed at in a long time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the pool set up in the center of the motel. The grounds were gorgeous, and we loved having a hammock outside our patio."

"The hotel is excellent. The breakfast is fabulous. The beds are soft and you wake up feeling $1,000,000. The only bad thing was the air con was noisy and it was beside the bed and was blowing on you all night. "

"It really was excellent. I did however witness something at the morning breakfast upon checkout, the employee that was cleaning up in the morning at approximately 630am, cleaned up a table and picked up napkins that appeared unused and placed them back on the unused napkins for incoming guests. My experience in hospitality is that napkins left on a table are disposed of not recycled."

"Very much enjoyed my stay at the Stables Inn. We think the decor is very nice and they did a nice job with the renovation. We especially appreciate the walkability to the entire downtown."

"We had a great stay at this property. One of the only downfalls were early morning sound of Deilvery trucks for the food venues. We also checked in later in the day and wished there was local wine in the minibar! But beautifully decorated rooms and very comfortable bed! We’ll definitely come back!"
