"Hai and Chilly were fabulous hosts, communicative and always happy to assist in any way. As it was winter we opted to stay in the village. The family sized room with 2 king beds and bathroom plus your own seating and hammock out the front situated in lovely gardens was a great place to recover after doing the Ha Giang Loop. "This hotel is just outside of cat ba town. to go out for dinner in the evening involves a bit of a walk up a hill into town. It is down in the harbor where you catch the boats to go to Halong Bay. "We were upgraded to the amazing owner’s suite, the staff paid attention to every single detail during our stay and we had so much fun during the several activities planned! Food was great too. Special shut out to Jim, Tom and Telly!"

"Wow a huge hotel with a lot of rooms. The service was excellent. Great eating in options. This hotel is on an island so you need to plan your day to get back on boat etc that only run every 30 mins. Given the amount of people this hotel can have there was a lot of noise at night and early in the morning."

"Lovely boutique hotel. One of our favorite so far. Good noodle soup—saw some locals eat there as well. Lovely surrounding area— walk along the ocean. You need to drive or take a taxi to the port. "

"We were expecting a beach front hotel. The beach is 6km away. The room was small, service shocking, breakfast basic and staff un inviting. We were booked for 6 nights and moved after 1 night. The hotel would not refund our money. The accommodation was falsely advertised and a disappointment. We also expected a pool, but there is no pool."
