Luxury cottage by the sea, near Bergen

Cozy cabin at the ocean coast of Bergen. Built in 2016.
This amazing venue is located next to Panorama Hotel & Resort, only 40 minutes drive from Bergen city center and 45 min from the airport. Du kan nyte de smukke solnedganger fra jacuzzi på terrassen, båt og fisketurer.
The cabin is suitable for families. There is Playstation 3 and a lot of different toys for children. There are 2 child's beds as well.

There is one bathroom with own bath that is sound isolated.


What to do during your stay?

1. Jacuzzi is included in the rent.

2. Boat rental for up to 8 persons:
One day rental NOK 1500
3-5 days: NOK 1300 per day
1 week rental: NOK 7000.
3. Sauna boat is also at the marina by the hotel and can be rented by drop in https://www.havblikkfjordsauna.no/galleri

4. Mountains and hiking tours:
- Experience the coastal nature with a nice walking tour to the idyllic places Håkonsund and Forlandsvåg. The starting point is from the cabin.
- we reccommand a mountain tour to the tops Kleppeaksla and Fjørdesveten. Breathe into the fresh air and enjoy the stunning 360 degree view. Starting point 5-10 min from the cabin by car.
- At 10 minutes drive you will find the activity trail at Kleppe, perfect for families with young children. (You will find map in the cabin)

Cozy place with great view

I stayed here with my family (2 adult couples, 1 10 year old) in late September. We got lucky with great weather. The house got a lot of sun - we made good use of the window shades! - and we soaked it up on the deck. Several of us enjoyed a dip in the fjord and a soak in the hot tub afterwards. We rented a boat from the hotel next door one day, and went hiking another day. It was a great place to relax and enjoy nature, and had everything we needed.

La maison est vraiment belle. Le cadre est apaisant. Malgré la barrière de la langue (français/anglais), la propriétaire a toujours été présente si j avais des questions. Notre famille garde un très bon souvenir de notre séjour.

Gorgeous and big enough for a family

Property was gorgeous. Plenty of cookware and spices. Comfy beds and showers with great water pressure. Host was very communicative and quick to respond. Our family of 7 had a great stay here and would definitely recommend!

Schönes Haus abseits des Massentourismus

Die Angebote lt. Inserat treffen nicht mehr alle zu. Zugang zum Strand und Hotelrestaurant nur eingeschränkt möglich (erst nach Intervention beim Guide Elena erhielten wir einen Zugangscode zum öffnen der Schranke). Die avisierten 10 % Nachlass auf Essen im Restaurant treffen nicht mehr zu. Das Restaurant steht nur noch Hotelgästen zur Verfügung. Ansonsten ist im Haus viel Platz, allerdings haben wir Kleiderschränke für unsere Garderobe vermisst. Praktisch aus dem Koffer gelebt. Das Ensuite-SZ im Erdgeschoss ok, aber das 2.SZ im EG sehr klein. Andere Zimmer alle über lange Treppe im 1.OG. Für ältere oder gehbehinderte Besucher nur bedingt geeignet. Technische Ausstattung top (Kommunikationstechnik). Für hochmodernen Induktionsherd allerdings keine Beschreibung auf Deutsch oder Englisch vorhanden. Die große Terrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick auf den Fjord sollte zumindest teilweise überdacht werden. Kein Sonnenschutz vorhanden und bei warmen aber regnerischem Wetter Aufenthalt nur im Haus möglich. Gute Möglichkeiten für interessante Spaziergänge in die nähere Umgebung. Gute Angelmöglichkeiten,; insbesondere bei Anmietung eines Bootes. Für entferntere Besichtigungen immer Fahrt über Bergen notwendig ( 40 Min. Fahrtzeit). Viel Zeit- und Kraftstoffaufwand.

Ruhige Lage und gut ausgestattetes Haus

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt im Haus, obgleich die Nachbarn doch näher waren als man das auf den Bildern sieht. Das Haus liegt in 1. Reihe zum Wasser. Das tolle große bodentiefe Fenster im Wohnzimmer war eine Freude wegen der Aussicht. Tagsüber knallt aber die Sonne rein. Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Küche war recht gut ausgestattet, alles war funktional speziell für Feriengäste ausgerichtet. Zutritt verschafft man sich über einen Code, den man kurz vorher erhält. Das hat gut geklappt, so super sicher haben wir uns dabei aber nicht gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war gut und schnell. Die Lage ist schön und nah am Wasser, extrem ruhig, es sei denn das nahe gelegene Hotel feiert Party (kam in 14 Tagen einmal vor). Nach Bergen sind es 40 Min. Supermarkt, Tankstelle, Apotheke etc. sind in der Nähe. WLAN funktioniert astrein und schnell. Wir fanden es ein bisschen zu abgeschieden; für Ausflüge weiter weg muss man immer über Bergen fahren, was +40 Min bedeutet. Sonst top. Kleine Mankos waren: - Kein scharfes Messer in der Küche zum Kochen vorhanden gewesen - Das Schlafzimmer könnte abgedunkelter sein (v.a. wenn man gerne bei offener Tür schläft, scheint es durch das Badfenster im Raum daneben sehr hell rein). - Das Versprechen, im nahe liegenden Hotel Services (günstiger) buchen zu können, erfüllte sich nicht. Wir waren vor Ort und haben beim Hotel nachgefragt und erhielten die Auskunft, dass Gäste des Ferienhauses nicht (mehr) den SPA und Kurse etc. buchen können. Auch ist mit einer Schranke der Weg zum Strand versperrt. Man sagte uns, dies sei nur (noch) Hotelgästen vorbehalten. Man müsse ein Zimmer buchen, um die Services/das Angebot nutzen zu können. Einzig im Hotel hätten wir speisen dürfen gegen eine normale Bezahlung. Da nichts frei war, ließen wir das. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr unfreundlich.

Beautiful cabin overlooking water

Our 4 night stay was very nice, however communication with the owner was somewhat slow. We were also led to believe by the reviews that the Panorama Hotel next door offered dinner for cabin guests. The staff at the Panorama were downright creepy and reacted to us as if we were from another planet. Also since most travelers do not speak Norwegian, it would have been nice to have the written house instructions in English as well. A microwave would have been helpful! Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Great house on a perfect location for trips and sightseeing.

This house is the first on the fjord; so wide view on the water! Nearby there are +/- 10 more houses; but you don't see them. 'In case of' is it nice to know. The house has a warm and nice design. Facilities are very good (especially the hot tube with it's great view and privacy). Bergen, with all it's possiblities, is on 35 minutes. We have made nice trips in the area. We stayed in the house 8 nights.

Geweldig mooi vakantiehuis

Het huis is erg mooi en compleet. We misten Engelstalige beschrijvingen, deze waren alleen in het Noors te vinden. Verder vonden wij de directe omgeving van het huisje niet echt geweldig er zijn veel mooiere plekjes te vinden op dit eiland, bijvoorbeeld aan de oostzijde nabij Klokkarvik.

Exquisite View & Great Location

My family (ages 21-81) absolutely loved this property. The property manager Elena was very responsive to all of my questions leading up to our visit, and check-in was very easy. The property was immaculately clean and looked even better than it does in photos! There was ample space for the six of us, but the cabin could easily accommodate a much larger group without anyone feeling crowded. The view from the living room and deck was so beautiful. We woke up early everyday just so we could sit with our coffee and watch the sun rise and the changing weather. Truly spectacular! We chose the property because of its proximity to Bergen, and it was an easy drive to and from the city. There are plenty of things to do on the island of Sotra. We took advantage of amenities at the Panorama Hotell, which is located within walking distance, and also enjoyed hiking at Lynghovdo. There were at least two grocery stores within a short driving distance, and the kitchen at the property had everything we needed to cook family meals. Although we tried to disconnect from technology during our visit, the WiFi was great and the TV offered lots of programming in many different languages. That was important to the 20-year-olds in the group! Overall, this is a spectacular property and one I would not hesitate to recommend. Tusen takk!

I was expecting a more helpful and understanding from the owner

We are very disappointed by the owner of the property. We had a medical emergency, my husband had a heart attack and hence had to cancel the trip. You guys wouldn't consider even giving an extension We were absolutely helpless and they refused to even rethink the proposal. This was absolutely un humanly.

The place was great

The place was great for my family of five. It was not too far from Bergen for day trips and we took a hike to the old Military fort. The boys were able to go fishing at the dock and caught a bunch of mackerel and ling. It was nice and quiet for us and the house was very well equipped.

Beautiful House and View

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was clean and comfortable and everything was new. We appreciated that it was next to the Panorama Hotel because we were able to take part in activities there (paddle boarding and the beach, for example). The food at Panorama Hotel was delicious. The view from the house was amazing. The property manager was kind and helpful.

Semaine exceptionelle dans une très belle maison a coté de Bergen

Ce sejour restera l'une de nos plus belle semaine de vacances. La maison etait parfaite avec une vue magnifique sur un paysage magnifique. Rien ne manquait dans la maison et nous avons beaucoup aprécié le confort et la qualité de cette location qui est encore mieux que la description. Le jacuzzi était très agréable après un bain dans la mere ou nous avons profité de la petite plage de sable blanch accessible a pied a moins de 5min. J'ai personellement particulierement apprécié la proximité et l'accessibilité a la mere qui nous permetait de mettre a l'eau directement notre Kayak et ma planche a voile. La terrasse etait très pratique pour poser ma voile et ma planche. L'endroit est très agréable a visiter en planche a voile quand il y a du vent ou en kayak quant il y a moins de vent. Nous avons egalement beaucoup apprécié notre excursion a Bergen qui est a moins de 45min et une excursion a Nordheimsund qui donne une bonne image des fjords et permet de gagner environ 30min sur un trajet d'environ 2 heures en passant par la visite de l'eglise en bois debout au sud de Bergen. Bref que du bonheur.

Wunderschön, wonderful, nuostabu!

Das war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt! Wir kommen wieder! Die Hütte ist wirklich sehr schön, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank, dass wir so einen schönen Urlaub hier verbringen dürften!
